Anyone who actually thinks that JP took a popularity hit last night is just grasping at straws. That was not a bad edit at all. Now Ed, that's what I call a bad edit. Ian also had what I would call a bad edit. JP and Ben should be very happy with producers. They've been very nice to them.
surely you jest??? not a bad edit - that was up there with Vienna and her confrontational edit.
The edit is in the eye of the viewer. While there are some who perceive JP's jealousy as juvenile and whiny, many others applaud him as being HONEST with Ashley about his feelings/emotions. In other words, Fleiss is happy as heck today that there is such devisiveness on the boards.

Exactly. When I heard Lucas whining about how JP would be whining, all I could think was Pot, meet Kettle. :giggle:
He whined to Ash too during their 1 on 1 time. He was upset he had to wear a "dress" and she said "long shirt". He was having the pity party too. He did leave with class though so kudos on that. I just think that date brought out the worst in both guys. I could tell Ames felt more awkward than anything and kept trying to make light of the situation... he's a gem that one.

Re: Reality Steve - Thread #2
I think we need to wait to see if the general public's opinion of JP has taken a downward shift since this episode. I'm sure people have friends on both sides of the argument. Is he now running neck and neck with Ben, or has Ben surpassed him as the favorite? We don't yet know just how big a deal this "negative edit" was.
I strongly disagree that this is anywhere comparable to Vienna's negative edit. Vienna remained the most disliked contestant on Jake's season from start to finish, due to her edit. Unless JP becomes the least liked contestant left now (going from the most popular before), this comparison is way off base.

How very true. I think several this season have had a time or two of acting like 15 year olds. Isn't that most men?
