Ashley liked that JP was jealous. Did you see her face? JP is going to have to watch Ash make out with Ben a lot more before this is over and if he can get through that then I'd say he's a pretty secure guy. Good thing he has that journal that Ashley wrote for him.

Sorry Patty, I am not talking about how he acted with Ashley...........I am talking how he was acting and treating the guys. Also, I seriously wonder if she thought this might be an example of a dangerous side of his personality. I didn't necessarily see "Happiness" on her face but concern for sure. Then again, it depends on what side of the fence you are on/what train/tram you are riding as to how you will see things for sure.

what's most interesting was Lucas' comment about when he gets angry he just gets silent (something like that) so obviously this wasn't the first time JP got frustrated/angry/jealous whatever, for Lucas to have a handle on JPs behaviour. It's always the surrounding things that tell also the story and shouldn't be overlooked.

Right anders! Lucus really let's you know what's going on. He's doesn't hold back. I like that. I find his comment about the wedding attire interesting, I would like to see how JP would have reacted if he had Lucus or Ames on. Probably would have bursted a vessel.

Too bad Lucas went home. I think he could have provided more insight as time went on even if he wasn't going to be the F1!

Lucas could have provided a view of what was going on from his own perspective, which may or may not have been accurate. He thought he was one of Ashley's top contenders, and was shocked to find out he wasn't, so he appears to have missed a few things regarding what was really going on.

Don't they all come out with some sort of similarly themed line when they leave? They're surprised, disappointed, and could see themselves spending their life with the lead? We never hear that there was absolutely nothing between the two of them and they were waiting to go home ~ even if that's really the case.

In his DOD, Lucas said that he definitely didn't expect to be the one going home. From where I was sitting, it seemed pretty obvious that they weren't a match at all, so I'm not sure why he felt so certain he would outlast some of the others. Again, every guy there saw things from his own perspective only, none of them were the authority on "what was really going on".

I so agree with this. All of us see from our own perspective. That is why there are so many different opinions when we are all watching the same show. I often felt that Lucas had a bit of an "outsider" perspective even though he didn't see his own connection with Ashley was one-sided. No particular thing I can point to as to why I felt that way but I did. I so appreciate all the great posters here who are giving THEIR perspective on this season. So often I am looking at things in a different light and have so much more to consider than I did as I watched the show. So to all of you wonderful people :Woah-hoo:

The edit has done exactly what it was intended to do which is confuse people. Anyone who actually thinks that JP took a popularity hit last night is just grasping at straws. That was not a bad edit at all. Now Ed, that's what I call a bad edit. Ian also had what I would call a bad edit. JP and Ben should be very happy with producers. They've been very nice to them.

surely you jest??? not a bad edit - that was up there with Vienna and her confrontational edit.

I didn't see JP's edit as bad. It is only those who think his admission of jealousy was negative and perhaps too fiesty and possessive. Many viewers, especially the unspoiled, will see this as a positive declaraton of love brewing. And it made interesting TV so why even think of editing this out for whatever reason?

I find Ben more compelling but I believe JP is F1.

I'm not talking about the convo he had with Ashley - I'm talking about the 'I can't speak right now' jealousy he displayed in the hotel room.

I totally called that!! LOL. I knew there would be no "storming" but I knew he would remain silent as not to incriminate himself. When Dino wanted to talk about it he didn't ... good for him for not spewing nonsense. He left the room quietly to collect himself. I don't know if it's more healthy to repress frustration or throw your fist through a wall and call it therapeutic.. that's a doctor's call. lol

He never really had to "Say" much, you just had to look at his personality, hear what the other guys were saying about it and see the daggers and anger in his eyes towards Ben to know where he stood. A very eerie kind of jealousy that is definately an edit not becoming of a F1. For Ames, Lucas and Ryan to all have a handle on his personality, he must of shown this side of him a couple of times in the past.........is it a "healty"side........I'd say not. But then again, that's just me.

From Ashley's blog she loved his reaction and thought he showed "strength and sincerity"..her opinion of JP is all that matters in the end, not ours.

I didn't see his edit as bad either, certainly nothing like Ed and Vienna! He was definitely jealous, but I didn't think he handled it poorly...JMO. He wasn't lashing out at anyone, instead chose to stay quiet or walk away.

Sorry, but could you honestly not notice the glare and daggers that he shot Ben when he came back from his date, then the fact that he had to storm out of the room..........kinda childish attitude, just like Lucas let on. Ames also alluded to it at the table with Ryan.........he said that JP wasn't handling things well. If the guys there can notice his contankerous nature and how he storms out of the room, it was pretty blatant then........IMO

I am also talking about the glare and fire in his eyes that he gave Ben before he stormed out of the hotel room.....that kind of anger/jealousy is dangerous. just sayin. For two days you could see those daggers in his eyes.........Lucas also admitted that he was very cranky and behaving juvenilish.........they were all there to get closer to Ash, yet JP was taking it to extreme's...........again, very freakish.

hmmm, first, she's not acting that happy to me, sure she's not sad or moping. She just seems to be okay and doing great. Nothing compared to Ali giddy demeanor that exploded with love. I'm reading nothing positive in CH blogs. Why would he give it away that production almost came to a halt, he didn't do that with DeAnna. Ashley hasn't raved about anybody in her blog, they're sweet and short. Why are we still hearing that phrase, "No Regrets".

I've just realized that I've heard reference to this a bunch but I don't think I ever saw the original quote, does anyone remember or know where I should look to find it? I'm curious if there are any clues there as to what specifically CH might have been referring to.
