Exactly. When I heard Lucas whining about how JP would be whining, all I could think was Pot, meet Kettle. :giggle:

I really don't think Lucas was "whining" as much as he was telling the truth. He was honest with how JP was reacting........truth be told, I've seen 12 year olds act with more maturity than JP did last night.

Constantine was doing it especially. All of the actual ribbing we saw and heard was coming from him (including all the pointed implications in the discussion once Ben showed up)... and Dino was the one that JP was talking to when he said "you're not getting anything out of me.. I don't want to talk about it." (paraphrasing). I think he didn't appreciate that Dino wouldn't leave him alone! The other guys weren't really being bad at all, and I didn't see any negative interactions either way between JP and anyone else. Perhaps he and Dino don't get along? Dino is a bit more "meatheaded" than the rest of them IMO.

The guys there like Lucas, Ames, Ryan all noticed that he isn't "happy" and is definately making it well known........come on.........I really don't think the editors had to works so hard last night to "edit" in JP's daggers towards Ben.......seriously how can you not notice that.........LOL. Ash did seem amused and pleased that JP was showing some jealousy and was cracking under pressure. One thing that I noted was that JP and Ash had obviously had a couple of conversations about the nature of the beast of a show that they all had signed up for. She was almost like see, this is hard but you said it was no problem, you've always been as cool as a cucumber etc, etc. This could be read as as she was pleased that his feelings were deep but also could be read as a "told you so" playful smugness to the guy that had previously put on a very confident-I can handle it-front.

Just pulling this from CH's tv guide interview. Doesn't sound like JP was acting out off camera to me. jmo

Will J.P.'s jealousy continue to rear its head?
Harrison: It's kind of a Catch-22 because you're supposed to start falling in love and caring about someone; but if you do, then obviously you don't want them dating a bunch of other guys and you definitely don't want to watch it. I don't think it was showing a bad side of J.P., it wasn't psycho, he explained himself so well and in a very endearing way. And he told it to Ashley which I liked instead of bitching and moaning behind the scenes.

ITA, how someone can be viewed as dangerous from watching a highly edited Reality TV show is beyond me. Of course if we were watching a show like Bad Boys, then we could determine if someone was dangerous, but this is a "romance" show. :hidingchair

This is the point at which I think I'm going to sign off until after FRC. See ya'll later.

Exactly! I agree

surely you jest??? not a bad edit - that was up there with Vienna and her confrontational edit.

I didn't see JP's edit as bad. It is only those who think his admission of jealousy was negative and perhaps too fiesty and possessive. Many viewers, especially the unspoiled, will see this as a positive declaraton of love brewing. And it made interesting TV so why even think of editing this out for whatever reason?

I find Ben more compelling but I believe JP is F1.
Well my unspoiled friends and family saw JP actions tonight very unfavorable..They were like who died and made him God..If left them with a bad taste in their mouth..They enjoyed Ben and thought Ames was real tonight.
Good to know. It is hard to figure the unspoiled viewer from where I sit so I shouldn't even try! I definately saw it as negative, no doubt about that. When I first read his bio I was surprised he included a such a negative trait in it. He is clearly a hot head and one of the many reasons I predict this relationship will fail.

I think he can be one too. :hidingchair I know its edited but there has to be some truth to what we saw..

BINGO!! Otherwise, why would 3 of the remaining 6 make comments and know how JP is when he is pissed off, seriously, if the other guys know his traits.........it definately means that they've seen it before. With Lucas's comments, kinda makes you think..........he definately wasn't impressed with the thought of going out on a group date with the way JP was acting.

ITA. We can ad Chris Harrison to.

Add Trista too. She wuvs him, and thinks he's just like her hubby. Who knew sweet Ryan was dangerous? I hope the kids are all right, maybe we should call CPS?

I find Ben more compelling but I believe JP is F1.

I'm not talking about the convo he had with Ashley - I'm talking about the 'I can't speak right now' jealousy he displayed in the hotel room.

I totally called that!! LOL. I knew there would be no "storming" but I knew he would remain silent as not to incriminate himself. When Dino wanted to talk about it he didn't ... good for him for not spewing nonsense. He left the room quietly to collect himself. I don't know if it's more healthy to repress frustration or throw your fist through a wall and call it therapeutic.. that's a doctor's call. lol

He never really had to "Say" much, you just had to look at his personality, hear what the other guys were saying about it and see the daggers and anger in his eyes towards Ben to know where he stood. A very eerie kind of jealousy that is definately an edit not becoming of a F1. For Ames, Lucas and Ryan to all have a handle on his personality, he must of shown this side of him a couple of times in the past.........is it a "healty"side........I'd say not. But then again, that's just me.

We all view things differently and you cannot say that any of the final group of guys is exactly impartial either, they are all supposed to be there for one thing and one thing only and that is to "win" Ashley, whether they are a pawn for TPTB or there for "the right reasons". So these guys may say anything they can that might give them an edge. Don't care if it's JP, Ben, Dino, Ames, Lucas or Ryan, they will all speak to each other's behavior if questioned by TPTB, whether TPTB choses to show said comments is another matter.

Its in the Edit
