Boy do I wish the same. It would stop me from pushing them in the pool, sending them to the office every chance I get, and just outright ignoring them. Bet their parents would love to know this is what happens at camp. But telling preteens and teenagers to follow rules and behave when they want to be on summer vacation is nearly impossible. So I would gladly take a group of JPs any week.

All I'm saying is, be careful of what you ask for.

Re: Reality Steve - Thread #2
Actually I said a 12 year old if we are to get the facts correct. And, no, he didn't act very well..........can you honestly believe that the daggers he was shooting to Ben, the whining that he did to the camera was mature.........sorry, not so much. If you look at other boards at the comments made by the non-spoiled watchers out there, there is a lot of bad attitude to JP as many feel he acted very childish. Keep in mind, the other guys already knew his attitude traits so it's not like it is the first time he acted that way.mnmhughes wrote:Coastal wrote:I guess it depends on what bandwagon......errrrr tram that you are on as to how you see things. Others that aren't on that tram can see things differently...........just like there are other views out there that can tear apart other guys, just because they don't see the positive sides of their personalities................just saying.mnmhughes wrote:Man, I WISH my middle schoolers would act like JP. Really it WOULDN'T matter what train/tram I'm on. As an educator of middle schoolers, I can state categorically that JP's behavior last night was above and beyond what an 11 year old would act like, as you had previously intimated.
Bottom line. When RS came out with the idea that Chantal was the F1 last season, complete with the "fact" that she and Brad spent Thanksgiving together........when the mentality spread that people really needed to see the connection with the two of them, it seemed to go into a firestorm on the boards when anyone said something to disagree with that concept. The Emily supporters were treated like crap on the boards and then in the end, someone sleuthed correctly that Emily was the F1........then the namecalling of posters and the nonsense amped up to another level.
That is happening to an extent on here this season as some posters are resorting to the name calling on the non JP fans................a shame that history is repeating itself.

I'm glad I work with all adults...teenagers make me stabby. Even though...there is a certain subset of adults at my job that make me stabby too.

Gina wrote:Not everyone. . If we look for flaws in people, we will find them no matter what they do or how they are, it's a mindset. To some JP can do nothing right, to others he can do nothing wrong. All that matters is how Ashely feels about JP, not any of us. And from all reports, she finds him Just Perfect.mnmhughes wrote:chesirecat wrote:Even though Ashley wasn't there to see JP's reaction to Ben coming back from the date, she saw it last night and still described showing emotion as being sincere and strong. I think her opinion on his reaction is the one that really matters.
On another note, the parts of the RS blog about the Ben/Dino bromance was hilarious, I loved it
And since Ashley and others who personally know JP have all described him as a wonderful, loving man, I'm thinking this isn't really as big a deal as we're making it.
As far as a mindset goes.........everyone has that mindset, just depends on what triggers it. With regards to others that won't/can't see anything wrong with JP, I find it too bad that it seems like some of those ones also want to tear apart the ones that do see things wrong with JP's edit, how things are going as far as him being F1.............just sayin. There is also a mindset thing that seems to happen every year...........once it is being sleuthed out or spilled that someone is the F1, the mindset says that that person will be the F1 no matter what........too bad that the boards end up going crazy because of it, not to mention the comments that get made by posters against other posters as well..........happened last season when RS spilled that Chantal was the F1, right down to spending thanksgiving together........we all know how that turned out. IMO, I am trying to keep an open mind as to what might be the eventual ending. One thing that is right.........Ashley is the one that matters. Too bad the name calling and fansite mentality has to incurr in the process.........just sayin.

His behavior and reaction should be lesson 101: Accept you have a hard time dealing with a situation that makes you insecure, unhappy and/or jealous. Talk calmly to the person and address those issues succinctly and concise, explaining why you feel that way. Be respectul and kind while talking about it. And if you feel the need to leave the room, walk out and don't slam any doors. That's how you handle it.mnmhughes wrote:Coastal wrote:I guess it depends on what bandwagon......errrrr tram that you are on as to how you see things. I have so much respect for JP.

Re: Reality Steve - Thread #2
They were at the breakfast table, both Ames and Ryan were discussing that JP wasn't handling the fact that Ben hadn't come home yet.........they BOTH commented that he is in his dark moody state.ironcat wrote:Coastal wrote:Maybe not so, but don't forget, Ames and Ryan also called JP out on his temper/jealousy/moods.chaslom4 wrote:Lucas hasn't exactly been a shining example of good behavior. I'm just curious what everyone thought of the way he acted at the cocktail party in HK.
That didn't look very mature to me! JMO
Exactly when did Ames and Ryan call JP out and what did they say? I only remember one comment from Lucas. Thanks.
