Seriously, thank you for saying this, especially the bolded. Calling JP dangerous or even on the verge of dangerous is grossly exaggerating what we saw last night. As someone who has had a legitimately dangerous person in my life, JP doesn't come within a 100 mile radius of that.

Ashley shared her feelings about the situation in her blog this week. If she saw the situation this way, then I will agree with her take on it. Even moreso because she actually lived through this whereas we are only witnessing a highly edited T.V. show.

Exactly. Now if he was in a relationship, or trying to be in one, with Lucas and didn't want to talk about it, then yeah, red flag. However, his focus is Ashley and he did talk to her about it in an honest and healthy way. It seemed got a little nervous at first, probably because of her dad and because the last guy she was hooking up with on TV was named Brad Womack, but they talked about it and they both came away satisfied after handling it like mature adults. Yay in my book.

Starting a journal at this point in the show tells me this was her "$hit just got real" moment and they both knew it.

Thank you. I don't understand anger over a reality show contestant, who no one knows in real life. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I think this is good to remember for everyone on this board. It is supposed to be a fun diversion folks, let's not get at each other over it.

Also, my prayers and best wishes for healing go to anyone who has suffered from domestic violence.

Good Post , Bee, Gina and Pavalygurl!

If that's the case then it seems to me Ashley addressed the issue of JP's behavior (and I guess Lucas's too) in her People blog this week:
I had a great time on this group date. After watching it, I had no idea how high emotions were running at that point! A part of me feels awful that this week was not enjoyable for some of the guys, but it also makes me feel good knowing that they had genuine feelings and were not afraid to express frustrations.

There's something about people showing their emotions that viewers tend to frown upon. They are said to be weak or an emotional mess. To me, showing emotion is a sign of sincerity and strength.

Yep Ashley's opinion is the only one that matters and she addressed it in her blog... case closed. Now can we get back to the real public enemy #1 here, RS? group hug

Will J.P.'s jealousy continue to rear its head?
Harrison: It's kind of a Catch-22 because you're supposed to start falling in love and caring about someone; but if you do, then obviously you don't want them dating a bunch of other guys and you definitely don't want to watch it. I don't think it was showing a bad side of J.P., it wasn't psycho, he explained himself so well and in a very endearing way. And he told it to Ashley which I liked instead of bitching and moaning behind the scenes.

Yes but...LOL, in another part of CH's interview he says JP was in a foul mood all week...so the guys are picking up on a vibe that must have been apparent.

Fair enough, but does this mean that anybody who is in a foul mood for a week (more likely a Bachelor week, which is actually 4-5 days) automatically has anger management issues, and is possibly dangerous? I've been in some foul moods that have lasted longer than that!

Then why not act like an adult and spend more time alone if he is treating the other guys and Chris with that kind of temperment as being in a foul mood and just hard to get along with...........kinda childish to me. IMO.

I'm sure JP would have loved to skip the whole week in Taiwan (he basically said so on the show), or stay in his room as much as possible, but he is filming a TV show, and obviously the producers aren't going to allow that.

:goodjob:

I saw nothing wrong with the way JP acted., neither did the unspoiled fans I work with. Yes, he was upset but instead of saying something he shouldn't, he removed himself from the situation. I see that as classy, not dangerous or out of control. Like Chris said, he discussed it openly with Ashley, he handled it right. I know I'd have a hard time seeing other girls macking on a guy I was interested in! I'm glad I will never be put in that kind of situation!

I did not say anger management issues, I said foul mood. I am just pointing out that JP was behaving in a way that would lead some of the guys, and CH, to comment on this behavior...jeez louise.

Sorry, you weren't the one who said it, but the leap has been made on this board that a bad mood equates to a bad temper and possibly being dangerous. And as has been recently wisely said, calling somebody dangerous based on this kind of flimsy evidence trivializes the real horror of dealing with a truly dangerous person.

I think that the JP love or fansite as it is becoming is getting pretty strangling for other posters here........really too bad. Some posters on here today, including myself are just trying to voice our opinions and we are being attacked for doing so..........very, very sad.
