Totally JMO here, and I'm not directing this towards anyone :hidingchair After reading pages, and pages, and pages about JP's disastrous and raging hissy fit I'll throw my opinions into the bunch and will leave at that.

This environment that they are placed in is not something that we will ever understand unless we have gone through the process (bless your heart if you did). I understand this is a place where we can come to debate and throw around ideas but reading 40+ posts of people arguing and bashing each other's opinions over something that we will never fully understand is tiring.

JP acted as he should in the environment given to him. Walking out of the room because you are upset IMO is the right thing to do, why sit there and torture yourself? Yes he moped around during the GD but when he had the chance to talk with Ashley, he took it, explained (calmly) in the best way he could that he was upset and flustered with the process and they moved on. He was having a bad day..who doesn't have a bad day once in a while, let alone in this environment? (Mr. Sunshine is an exception) The producers saw their chance and ran with the edit.

I love that Ashley mentioned that she started to keep a journal, I also wonder if she wrote in pen or pencil? (just in case she had to erase some details ) At this point in the season I can't see her ending up with anyone but JP..and I don't see my opinion changing on it. The edit is screwed up, BNB was major overkill, Ryan drove me to drink, and people still can't tell Ben/ Dino apart on twitter. If the F1 is anyone but JP I won't understand why nor will I care to.

So about that RS fellow..

I agree with your whole post, Carrie! You said it so much better than I ever could. I will just leave it at that and won't be returning to this thread unless I have something to say about RS.

I posted on some thread that the fact Ashley said she just started her journal and mentioned Ali advised her to, means she knows how the edit is going to be showing the F2 coming more to the front, and it will be harder for her F1. So, she'll have the journal to go to and show him to reassure him, just like Ali did with Roberto.

Absolutely! Something major happened in HK between them and it's forged a noticeable emotional connection between them. Like JP said, they are on a different level.

Maybe Ashley didn't want to remember HK. Didn't she say in her blog that she didn't watch the show?

She said it on Kimmel actually. I thought that was kind of weird.

She mentioned something in her blog as well as not watching but I feel it was solely because of the Bentley debacle vs. nothing special happening in HK (not saying you said that but just using those words). In her JKL interview, when asked if she watched the episode she replied "no, not really". I probably interpreted that a little differently than others and believe she did view parts of episode 6. She probably skimmed through it..like most of us would have after being fed up with the Bentley drama and may have stopped to see some of her favorite moments. She had to have known what the viewers were shown for it to match up with her blog, no?

Good points. If she knew it was Ben she was developing deep feelings and connection, I think she would have started the journal in Chiang Mai as the Hong Kong date was so passionate with JP. Then she would have had the journal to go back and show Ben as of Chiang Mai she cared for him and not JP. But she started it at epi 7 instead, when JP showed he was insecure and told her he didn't like her being with the other guys. Strictly jmo about it. :D

One thing to keep in mind though........Ash said back in Chiang Mai of how she already thought that Ben and her created that emotional forge and connection back in epi 5.......Which was again before JP and her made a "connection" in Hong Kong....just food for thought.

Coastal, thanks for sharing what you know and taking a huge "hit" for the team today. I chose to skip over reading most of the posts you were talking about earlier, so I did not realize how bad it got for you. I will wait for you to post what you know after Monday or whenever you feel comfortable. And please don't feel bad if people, including me, still choose to ride the tram after you post. I think people are pretty solidified in who they are supporting at this point in the show. I am trying to keep an open mind, but I can only promise to be who I am and share what I see respectfully. Most seasons my fave is not F1 and I still support them. I guess that's what you call unconditional love. Have a good night.

Again, sorry for my mood earlier..........it was really sad here earlier when the non JP fans seemed to take hits just because they weren't on the JP tram. I might sum it up as maybe respect might not of been used as much as it should of on both sides of the fence today, that's the shame. You have a good night too.........thanks
