ANYWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY...getting back to RS, he posted on twitter tonight (and in his blog today) that Friday Night Lights is starting on ESPN and ESPN Classic. I will second his recommendation...it is a MUST WATCH! One of my favorite tv shows ever.

Oh I know!!! I only discovered it recently. I was soooo happy to hear that it will be on ESPN/Classic.

I've been gone most the night but have looked back a few pages to see what the fuss is about. I really haven't seen anyone be attacked except maybe JP. Which is very unfortunate because he really doesnt deserve it. I don't see anyone attacking Ben even though he has not been on perfect behavior especially with the twitter flirting and demeaning blog about Ashley that he seemed to enjoy. I don't think either are a big deal since its pretty obvious that he's F2 anyway. As for RS, he said something in his blog today that I really agree with and that is even without the spoilers, this season is very easy to figure out. If someone disagrees with JP as F1, that's great but give me something concrete.

I am just going to throw out one quick thought......I personally think JP is a great guy, I highly doubt he has anger issues, is abusive, etc. The only thing I question is how they are EDITING him to be so very jealous. I cannot speak for others, but would guess that some actually mean the same thing when they discuss his jealousy.

Being this is the RS thread, I didn't even read his blog...anything in there worth reading?

I posted on some thread that the fact Ashley said she just started her journal and mentioned Ali advised her to, means she knows how the edit is going to be showing the F2 coming more to the front, and it will be harder for her F1. So, she'll have the journal to go to and show him to reassure him, just like Ali did with Roberto.

JMO ~ If JP is not F1 and it's Ben, that journal should have been started in Hong Kong, don't ya think???

Absolutely! Something major happened in HK between them and it's forged a noticeable emotional connection between them. Like JP said, they are on a different level.

Maybe Ashley didn't want to remember HK. Didn't she say in her blog that she didn't watch the show?

She said it on Kimmel actually. I thought that was kind of weird.

ETA: ooops sorry I don't know if she said it in her blog but I remember it from JKL :awesome:

She mentioned something in her blog as well as not watching but I feel it was solely because of the Bentley debacle vs. nothing special happening in HK (not saying you said that but just using those words). In her JKL interview, when asked if she watched the episode she replied "no, not really". I probably interpreted that a little differently than others and believe she did view parts of episode 6. She probably skimmed through it..like most of us would have after being fed up with the Bentley drama and may have stopped to see some of her favorite moments. She had to have known what the viewers were shown for it to match up with her blog, no?

But if JP were f1 don't you think she'd say she watched at least part of the episode? Perhaps that's a clue that Ben's f1.

Re: the journal. Maybe Ashley started it later but doesn't mean she didn't write about previous dates/feelings. I know you all want to make it about JP but not everything is a clue that it's him or not Ben.

I'm just stating my opinion and what I see and how I feel. It's fine if you don't feel the same way or see any clues. No biggie, it's how I interpret it, you don't. :D

This wasn't addressed at you in particular but venting a little frustration. There seems to be nothing that isn't looked at as a clue that JP's the f1 or Ben is not. The JP love has overtaken the whole forum and is overwhelming for those who don't feel the same. You have to be tough to venture into the fray and sometimes doesn't seem worth it. Kind of too bad because it's fun to sleuth and come up with theories.

Edited to add: Thanks for your post, BamBam. I'm not sure whether Ashley did or didn't want parts but the important thing is she said she didn't. Could be a clue or not.

I appreciate your posts because it is nice to hear other views.

I obviously have an F1 in mind and have no interest in swaying but I do understand the bolded line. I may not be good at it yet but I do try my best to see the other side when the time or situation arises. It is why I didn't mention a specific name in my earlier post. Ashley's favorite part could have been Lucas for all I know but I do think she watched some parts of episode 6 even though she said she didn't.

Good points. If she knew it was Ben she was developing deep feelings and connection, I think she would have started the journal in Chiang Mai as the Hong Kong date was so passionate with JP. Then she would have had the journal to go back and show Ben as of Chiang Mai she cared for him and not JP. But she started it at epi 7 instead, when JP showed he was insecure and told her he didn't like her being with the other guys. Strictly jmo about it. :D

If it's Ben, I hope Ashley has a long entry with a good explanation of why she told JP about Bentley's return before she told her fiance, who she was already in love with at that point, apparently.

Maybe she did tell Ben, it just wasn't shown..........just food for thought.

Back to RS. I printed out all his spoilers and he nailed it so far, including the Ryan exit on the date and not at the RC. I hope he gets some spoilers from the taping of the AFRC as to who Ashley is engaged to or whatever the situation is now.

Why are you sorry? That's your opinion! My opinion is that he is right this season because of what I am seeing...both during the show, the edit and after the show.

If we will all take a trip down memory lane, Ashley behaved very badly during group dates with Brad. I remember more than one, "Group dates suck" coming from our little girl cupcake. She can relate to and understands completely how JP is feeling...and she told him that when she gave him the group date rose. Ashly told JP that hearing he was having a really hard week broke her heart. JP was being totally honest with Ashley in how he was feeling. Ashley said multiple times that you have to have complete honesty in a relationship. Whether JP is F1 or F2, her actions on the show and her blog this week show that she respected his sensitive, vulnerable and raw emotion.

I would also ask out of respect for our fellow board members who have been physically, verbally and emotionally abused, please refrain from using the word "dangerous" when you have no real clue what it is to fear for your life at the hands of someone you love.

Thank you. I don't understand anger over a reality show contestant, who no one knows in real life.

Seriously, ladies and gents--this bickering goes on each and every season. I don't care if the f1/f2/f3 are male, female or hermaphrodites! It is the S.O.S.E.S. (same ole shit each season!)
And as far as I'm concerned--none of us has benefitted financially, physically or emotionally on a personal basis from any of these contestants! So who cares!
And NO--I do not have a favorite. I am too busy trying to figure out if CH is wearing a cheesy toupee and shoe lifts. All I can think about after last night's show is what SDL would have snarked about re--CH. PATHETIC! He used to be kind cute, too. What's next--botoxed forhead and restylene lips?
