Dino must have been one of the ones she was back and forth about, cause he got two 1 on 1's , and is spoiled F3.

Any significance of the final group date rose to JP?

I can't find the video where it shows Ashley roasting the guys. I've looked at Grapevine and JU but cant find it. Could somebody help me to locate it please :awesome:

They change things all the time. So you can never follow one pattern. Maybe this time they decided to feature the final one in the magazines. Emily did get a whole page dedicated in 2 separate magazines before the premiere episode aired and still ended up winning.

Maybe they had to put him in the five to watch because up until now most viewers would probably struggle to identify him given his lack of screentime with Ash so far! :twisted:

thanks, I knew I'd seen it somewhere but couldn't remember where and thanks to a fellow Canadian poster from last season (can't remember the name to thank :Frown: ) I can now watch those forbidden videos....yay :missclap:

I need to apologize to the board for going on an inaccurate tangent last night with the last date rose thing. One thing it does seem to me though, if the F1 doesn’t change and they are there at the time they will get the last one on one date rose. If there is an anomaly all bets are off. The anomalies that I remembered in past seasons are:
Graham to Jesse
Ed not being there
Maybe this season: Bent to?

If you go with that theory then JP got the very last date rose on his 1/1 before the HT dates and the very last group date rose before the HT dates according to RS and looks like he has been pretty accurate on the dates and eliminations so far. I myself don't really hold much stock in that theory tho ( just sayin)

Episode 4: (In Phuket, Thailand, 12 down to 11)

1-on-1: Ames Brown. At some point, they end up sitting at the edge of the water in the sand in their bathing suits. Ames gets a boner I’m sure. He gets a rose.
Group Date: At a local orphanage where the guys are building and painting stuff all day for the kids. Since Ben F. is the artistic one of the bunch, he ends up impressing Ashley the most and Ben Flajnik gets the rose.
1-on-1: Constantine Tzortzis. He gets a rose.
Rose Ceremony Elimintion: West Lee.
Episode 5: In Chaing Mai, Thailand, 11 down to 8
1-on-1: Ben Flajnik. According to the press release, they go shopping at an outdoor market, visit an ancient Temple, then end the night with Thai music, dancing, and fire eaters. Ben gets a rose.
Group Date: Eight men compete against each other in Muay Thai boxing, tournament style. Kinda similar to Ali’s guys wrestling in Portugal, except much more manly and less oily. Ryan beats Ames and accidentally gives the guy a concussion, sending him to the emergency room. Blake beats Lucas. Constantine beats Nick. JP beats Mickey. Constantine and JP bow out of the competition, so Blake and Ryan have one final match. Blake ends up winning and he gets the rose later that night.
2-on-1: Ben Castoriano and Will Holman. Both are sent home on this date.
Rose Ceremony Eliminations: Ben Castoriano and Will Holman already eliminated on their 2-on-1 date. Nick Peterson sent home at the ceremony.
Episode 6: (In Hong Kong, 8 down to 6)

This is the episode where Bentley returns and makes an appearance. If you didn’t read Chris Harrisons conference call with the media on Wednesday June 1st, you can read the summary here. One thing I think that was clarified in this conference call, is now we know why Bentley returns to the show in Hong Kong. Look at Chris’ answer when asked about reports that Bentley returns:

Will Bentley return to the show?Chris wouldn’t confirm a Bentley reappearance later in the season (Reality Steve says Bentley does return), but he said Ashley “definitely has a hard time moving past this” and the only reason they would allow Bentley back on the show is if Ashley wanted it. It’s her call.
So there’s your answer. When Bentley returns to the show in Hong Kong, Ashley is fully aware he’s coming back and is the one that asked for him to return because she needs some sort of closure from him. I guess the reasoning he gives her in episode 3 for leaving doesn’t sit well with her, and three episodes later, Bentley is still on her mind, so they bring him back per her request.
1-on-1: Lucas Daniels. He gets a rose.
Group Date: Three 2-man teams competing in a dragon boat race. They have to run into Stanley Market and get random strangers to join their boat to compete in the race. Ames/Mickey vs. Ryan/Blake vs Constantine/Ben F. Ames/Mickey finish 1st, Ryan/Blake finish 2nd, Constantine and Ben F. bring up the rear finishing 3rd. Ryan ends up getting the rose on this group date.
1-on-1: JP. He gets a rose.
Rose Ceremony Eliminations: Blake Julian and Mickey McLean
Episode 7: (In Taiwan, 6 down to 4)

1-on-1: Constantine.
1-on-1: Ben F.

Group Date: Ames, JP, Lucas. JP gets a rose.
1-on-1: Ryan. He gets sent home on this date.
Rose Ceremony Elimination: Ryan Park sent home on his 1-on-1. Lucas Daniels eliminated at the ceremony.
Episode 8: (Hometowns, 4 down to 3)

Ben Flajnik (Sonoma, CA) I’m guessing he took her to the winery he co-owns, Evolve Winery. And let me guess, he showed her how wine is made.
Constantine Tzortzis (Cumming, GA) Took her to his familys restaurant, Giorgios. They made a pizza together, Ashley served some of the customers, then she ate dinner with his family.
JP Rosenbaum (Long Island, NY) Hey, maybe since Ames is in NY too, they just killed two birds with one stone and had both guys hometowns and families meet each other? I’m kidding.
Ames Brown (New York, NY) Lets see, both Ashley and Ames are Ivy Leaguers, so maybe these two had a rip roaring night at the library quizzing each other on Quantam Physics.
Rose Ceremony Elimination: Ames Brown.
Episode 9: Overnight Dates (In Fiji, 3 down to 2)
Update 5/25: Ryan Park returns in Fiji to, I assume, tell Ashley to re-consider. He is sent home again and absolutely is not part of the final rose ceremony.
Constantine is the one sent home on the overnights. However, the circumstances surrounding his exit could be a little different. He might’ve eliminated himself, it might’ve been mutually agreed upon that both of them realized they weren’t a match for each other (apparently there might have been some major religious differences between the two), or maybe it is just a regular rose ceremony where he doesn’t get a rose. I’ve heard a a few things. All I know for sure is he’s eliminated here.
Rose Ceremony Elimination: Constantine Tzortzis.
Episode 11: (In Fiji, Ben Flajnik vs JP Rosenbaum)
-In one of JP’s last appearances with Ashley, they go kayaking. Ashley is in a turquoise bikini and brown sarong. JP has a yellow shirt on.

-In one of Ashleys last appearances with Ben, he’s wearing a plain gray t-shirt and Ashley is wearing jean shorts, with a white and purple shirt.
-Ben worked for Let it Ride Design in San Diego before going on the show (you can even see him at the :20 mark in the video on their homepage. Go Storm Horse! You’re welcome for the free plug). He has since left that company and moved back up to San Francisco and is focusing on the winery. Doesn’t really mean much since…

-Ashley is engaged to JP.
If I hear any more news surrounding the final rose ceremony, I will post as I know it. But all the information I’ve been given has told me Ashley is engaged to JP. You will see that Aug. 1st.

Just catching up on this thread (lots of posts!) and the only thing that is clear to me is that we don't have enough to go on in order to determine who is getting the F1 edit yet, since three of the presumed F4 have had such limited airtime. It seems that based on who each of us either predicts or wants to be F1, there is some evidence or a prior pattern to support their theory. Thankfully, tomorrow's episode will at least give us our first real view of how Ashley interacts with the 3 "invisible" dudes, so hopefully, we will then have something tangible to go on. There is plenty of time left for one of them to "take over" the F1 edit, while JP fades a bit into the background (or not).

I also remain convinced that "the Bentley Show" has been partly responsible for the editors perhaps changing the game this season. Never has a lead fallen (supposedly) so hard and so fast for a villain who left so soon. In a way, Bentley is getting the most pervasive F1 edit, and will continue to do so until Ashley finally gets her closure with him.

Also, regarding who is "too obvious" at this point to be the winner, the show is edited for the unspoiled, not the sleuthers. While JP is slowly becoming the fan favorite, I would say that right now, I think Ryan is still viewed as the frontrunner by most viewers, based on his looks and credentials, and being selected by Ash for 2 special roses (FIR and GDR). Hate to say it, but at one point, early on, viewers thought Jake was Jill's frontrunner. That impression is going to change soon, probably tomorrow somewhat. Despite how much viewers like him and are impressed with him, I really can't see, based on how he gets such a late date, how Ryan could possibly be Ashley's F1. Combined with the doubt that anyone won her heart after the Bentley fiasco, selling an Ashley/Ryan love story would be virtually impossible IMO. It's between JP and Ben for sure.

JP got a rose one his last 1 on 1 date of the series on Episode 6 and a rose on his group date in Episode 7. What everyone forgets is not only did Brad give Ashley a rose on the group date in Episode 7 of Bachelor 14 he also had the very first 1 on 1 date in that Episode with Emily. There were no roses given to anyone having 1 on 1 dates that week but Brad said he knew he should not do this but he was breaking the rules with Emily and assured her at the end of their date that she would be getting a rose at the RC and would be going on a HTD and did not have to worry the rest of the week as he completed his other dates. Therefore when they had the RC between Emily, Ashley, Chantal, Shawntel and Michelle both Emily and Ashley knew to would be going on HTD.

We will have to see how Episode 7 plays out this season, but apparently there will also be no roses given out on the 1 on 1 dates so will Ashley assure Ben or Constantine they have nothing to worry about and will be getting a rose at the next RC and going on a HTD as did Brad with Emily? Have to remember at that Episode 7 RC you will have 5 men standing there and only JP will have a rose and knows he is assured a HTD. Ben, Constantine, Ames and Lucas will not be sure which one will not be getting a rose. On Brad's season only Chantal, Shawntel and Michelle had to worry about who would be cut.
