You could well be correct. I started this latest round of observations by saying I could be wrong. It could be just how I'm taking it. For those who added that Harrison has called it the event of the summer? Uh, Harrison. It's not being promoted as that. It's being promoted as the lead in to Bachelor Pad. And as wrong as I may be, that just strikes me as odd.

Just my 2 cents for what it's all worth.

Must-See TV: The Bachelorette Finale
The BeTrendMe offices have been buzzing with excitement over the upcoming finale of one of our favorite TV shows, “The Bachelorette”. All of us BTM interns love gossiping over this emotional roller-coaster of a show every week and now that Bachelorette Emily is down to the final two guys, we can’t wait for the finale! It’s been a long and emotional journey but Emily has finally narrowed her search for love down to two eligible bachelors – Jef and Arie. Based on what we’ve seen so far, it seems like she has a great connection with both of these handsome fellas and honestly don’t know who she will choose! BTM usually doesn’t play favorites, but in this case we can’t help but be on team Jef! We’re especially excited about this season’s “After the Final Rose” which will be airing live after the finale! This segment is usually taped weeks in advance but producers have decided to air it live this season due to some unresolved feelings on someone’s end and to avoid spoilers. The fact that the special will be airing live means anything could happen and BTM can’t wait to watch! What do you think BeTrenders? Have you been following The Bachelorette this season? This is probably not nice but O-M-G Emily's mother's voice is deeper than Emily's father's voice. Can you imagine if Emily had that voice? Also her mom has botoxed and plasticized herself pretty good. I think Emily looks more like her father. :yes:

From what I saw, she kissed:

Jef, Arie, Sean, Chris, John, Ryan & that awkward peck from Doug, if you want to count that. The top 3 guys are the only ones that she had serious make-out sessions with, the others were just for the show. If she ends up with nobody, which I think is likely to happen, I think she will go home to NC and stay there and continue her life just as it was before. If she ends up with Jef, I believe she will move to UTAH with him. How it goes from there, noboby knows.

I'm with many who have said they do not have that feeling from the promotion of the finale that there is a happy, romantic or satisfying ending to her journey to find love. At the beginning of the MTA, CH asked the audience"

"who here would like to finally see Emily find the love of her life?" "I think the viewers across America feel the same way." "Emily Maynard, one of the most beloved Bachelorettes we have ever had on the show, is down to two men, Arie Jef, one of whom will hopefully become her husband & a new dad to her daughter, Ricki." He goes on to say "the finale will air Sunday night as part of a live 3 hour event and it promises to be one of the most DRAMATIC ENDINGS EVER!"

In the interview with CH at the MTA, he starts out by saying:

"Obviously, you can't let us in on what's to come, AN AMAZING FINALE." Emily kind of has a fake no-teeth smile and nods her head up and down in agreement.

Also during that interview, I thought it was an inside joke between the two when CH wanted her to do the Running Man dance right then and she said no "but I tell you what, after the final rose, I'll do the Running Man." They then did a high five. Watch Emily's body language after she said that. I just get the feeling that she ends up with nobody at the end. Not that she didn't choose someone, but she is not with them now. Just a feeling. Why would she say she would do the Running Man after the final rose, which you could take as she wants to run away. That didn't sound like someone that was happily engaged right now. Of course, she could be so happy that she wants to dance after the final rose. Well, we will know in just a few short hours.

I do not believe that some of the former contestants/leads that are coming tonight would be coming if it isn't a happy and amazing ending to this season. JMO.

My Direct TV guide says Emily Maynard will be on GMA on Monday and Live with Kelly on Tuesday. It doesn't say Emily & her final guy, just Emily Maynard. There may be other interviews, but I don't know. Anyone know?

Why are former contestants coming in for the show though?

Yes, it seems as though they are gathering for a celebration and the fact that Trista is not going (even though it sounded as if she was def. in L.A.) says to me that there is the prospect of an upcoming wedding which would shelve her idea of a 10 year spectacular featuring herself and Ryan - she's probably ticked that someone may have usurped her as the 'darling' of the series.

I don't see it as an indication of the outcome one way or the other. Ali/Roberto, Jason/Molly and Trista/Ryan were all there for the ATFR of Brad's season, and it wasn't because it was a happy ending.

How did they word those in the past did they just name the lead or the lead and their F1? That could be a clue or them just trying to make us think she picks no one.
