Why do I get the impression that these tabloid writers have been lurking on this board and just using stuff that we have already dug up, or speculated about, as the basis for their "shocking" stories? Pretty much everything they've come up with on both guys are things that have already been hashed out here.

The paparazzi pics from Ashley H's season and Ben F's season were in Life & Style. Ashley's season was the 1st in which production worked with L&S. No paparazzi pics anywhere this season. In Ali's season, production was working with OK but I think it may have been US that had the pic from the FRC. And I believe it was US that had LCD pictures from Brad's season.

loveski, thanks for the note about the Jef pics already being discovered. I haven't been able to read too much here this season so I haven't kept too much track of stuff like that.

The stuff against Jef and Arie's respective characters has been in various tabloids all season. I'm a little surprised L&S, which has gotten the usual production-placed stories, has picked up on those stories, but perhaps it's a strategic leak to make people think there's a possibility they'll see a breakup at the live ATFR (for the record, I don't think that's what will happen). Or, maybe Emily really is having doubts.

No worries - thanks for bringing everything over. The tabloid stuff is always fun. It seems tepid this season though. I wasn't even watching the Ben season fully, but I remember reading about that drama everywhere.

The pic if the two girls kissing Jef's cheek was posted here. Hardly a scandal. These stories are weak as he!! They are really lame.

As for the L&S article starting to get negative; maybe because of the dearth of paparazzi pictures this season and MF's desire to keep his ending under wraps, L&S and other tabloids are scrambling for something to write, hence the negativity, digging around and maybe in prior years they didn't need to get stuff because ppl were only too happy to provide dirt on some of the star players.

I agree with this. While L/S is the least reliable of the tabloids, and I discounted their earlier leak/spoiler, if one were to indeed take that spoiler as true, one would also now have to think that they have a reason to be turning on Jef. (Not that the info on Jef is true either - I have no idea. But it did seem like they had a source, since Emily was directly quoted in their earlier stories, so - and I can't believe I'm saying this - I do wonder if there's some validity behind the L/S article.)

I also agree that US Weekly usually has the most accurate scoop at this point in the season, so there may also be some validity to that piece too.

I'm not buying into any of the tabloids. The L&S mention that Jef prefers the company of younger women, Ha! It would seem to me that they're reaching this conclusion based upon the multitude of photos fans have taken with Jef since he returned home and has gone on about his daily life and PW business. I don't believe anyone credible provided that information because it just doesn't ring true. Jef's friends are long-time friends, and they're youthful looking, but they're friends. They took a piece of a conversation we heard between Jef and his brother and ran even further with it, though we didn't see it all, and thus probably didn't hear his brother's thoughts about Jef being ready to be a father once Jef finished talking. Jef did basically say that he never saw those things with past GFs, but that he can totally see that with Emily.

I hear the word "tabloids" and I dismiss most everything reported.

ITA. I put NO stock in anything I read in the tabloids. I had E! News on my DVR and recently took it off. For some reason I thought they were more responsible in their reporting. When they just repeated the junk In Touch mag as if it were truth, they lost me.
