For her sake, I hope he is dealing with his drinking problem (and his sleeping around problem). I think the drinking may be behind his jerkiest behaviors.

I, like Jillian, could not help falling in love with Ed on her season. There were red flags all over him and his edit, but I really like him when he was vulnerable and with Jillian. If you compare Ed to Nick, Nick is at least 3-4 years older than Ed was when Jillian's season aired. Maturity looks good on Ed - both in looks and in his behavior.

I like Ed. Jillian never could keep her mouth shut about her private life with him yet he never ever said a negative word about her. Shows me who the better person is. She still has to say something negative about him.

^^ In a way I agree, nonnie. I liked that he didn't go total a**hole on her(trying to justify his behavior) and took the (perhaps deserved) beating without a word. He made mistakes and he owned up to them. It was obvious that Jillian wasn't the right girl for him and he wasn't the right guy for her. There were plenty of clues that it was not going to end nicely...
I never really felt that sorry for her... She knew what to expect and she still chose him.... She even admitted to only staying with him, bc she wanted to prove nay-sayers wrong. She did not want to be made out to be a fool. hmmm

They both seem to be happy now though. So, all is good.

^^There's always two sides to every story. He isn't a stinking worthless piece of humanity as I have seen people try to make him out to be. He made mistakes but no one is perfect. Sad to say those who have bashed him to hell and back probably have some in their families worse than he ever dared to be.
