clearasday, I think there are still lots of reasons why it appears that she could have picked Sean.
He is getting a really great edit.
If we had been spoiled that Sean was F1- rather than 1F- we would all see the signs which 'clearly' point to him.

( I still think there are more signs in the edit that point to him, than point to 1F, but I believe that is the work of the master editors)


It is no wonder to me that Jef was not watching much of the show up to this point. TOOOOO much going on with BOTH Arie and Sean in Emily's journey.

At least someone wants to hear what I think. The signs that I think are pointing towards Sean being the last guy standng are the exact sames reasons some people think its Jef and Arie but its kinda funny...because....some people are wondering why in the world a guy like Sean would go on the show and risk getting his heart broken. I think Sean knew going into it that that was a possibility. Sean is probably a traditional christian guy who was looking for a woman to fall in love but just couldn't find one in Dallas(Kind of shocking as good looking and Awesome guy such as himself)(he said NO originally to the show...but when he found out it was Emily "it was the tipping point...read this on wetpaint or in his interview with the London date...Even though he is a traditional man maybe he could think of finding love in a crazy and much more un-traditional way)maybe he thought going in "I know I could get my heart broken but on the other hand I could find the woman of my dreams" so the good outweighed the bad. I'm sure if he saw Emily and talked to her the first night and didn't see a spark or connection he would've said Thanks but no thanks and opted to leave because these guys CAN do that. They can not accept the rose. I'm sure if Emily didn't see it going any further she would've respected him and let him know just like she did with Tony and Doug. Emily knew what Sean was about since the first night. I mean Emily knew Sean was about family and his faith and stuff so I'm sure she respects him enough to be completely honest with him. Knowing what a sweet and caring guy he is (I know guys can be nice and get their hearts broken)I'm sure she would've told him hey,look Sean your a great guy but I don't think I'm the woman for you(This doesn't make sense to me even typing it.)

Third Episode: Before Rose ceremony:At the park Emily friends grill him and seems to pass with flying colors.Emily's PI:Sean and Doug stand out...Children love him...Gets the ROSE)During their personal time Sean tells Emily he would take Ricki as his own...(Has Arie had a childrens conversation with Emily?) We know Jef has but IS HE READY to be a father?

In an article Emily says,"No matter how crazy I was about a guy, if he wasn't ready to step up and be a stepdad and husband, I'd have say thanks but no thanks? Does that sound like Sean or Jef you tell me because I DO NOT KNOW.

1)Emily was EXCITED to see him on London Date (Beginning I know)They talk about how she wants more kids. He tells her he knows what this is about and that he's confident in what they share.
On same episode:Sean says at the end of the day She wants to feel protected.She lays her head against his chest...In PI Emily says "Not only do I get butterflies in my stomach but butterflies in my heart"...It FEELS RIGHT.

2)During the Hunger Games date Emily tells Sean during their alone time to STAY Confidant when things get harder. Sean looks down at her hand (Maybe in his mind he's thinking Maybe I could marry her...IDK it could be nothing honestly)

3)In PRAGUE Sean gets her up against the wall and we all know what happened there.Emily says he MAKES HER HAPPY (Has she said another guy made her happy? Yes she said "Nothing could make me more happier to Arie(I think)..Sean says he couldn't imagine a better person to spend his life with...She says he'd be a great husband.

Arie and Jef and Chris have told her they love her she hasn't said it back just politely saying things like that's sweet and blah blah but is Emily saving her "I Love You back" for ending or is she saving it for the guy who she truly loves (SEAN?) that is the million dollar question

If they can't make it even more obvious in whose chosen...All three,Sean,Jef,and Arie have done media interviews...But in Sean's they talk about a wedding and honeymoon...Do they talk about having a wedding or honeymoon in theirs? Again could be nothing but something to think about. And with that I think I'm done.

Very sweet! I think Sean is going to be JUST fine coming out of this "journey"...he's got a great edit and lots to be proud of! What I got out of that scene is that he's learned a lot about himself and is ready to find the right girl.

I have seen a lot of what you are talking about and that is what makes this show confusing. He is getting a wonderful edit but in a way I think he is the safe choice. She knew early on exactly what she would get with Sean. He is everything she was looking for on paper, and everything people probably expected of her, and even what she probably expected of herself. I think what probably attracts her to Jef is his unique-ness. He seems to give her a sense of adventure or something. I don't really see a long lasting relationship with her and Jef on her part. He seem so much more invested than she does, IMO.

Don't forget we have been shown Sean the past 3 episodes chasing after Emily. In last episode we have a PI of him saying he's going to fight to get what he wants. (er I don't think he actually said it but what he actually said was the gist of if I am sent away, I'll come back and fight. - at least that was my impression. ) Why are they leaving that and all the chases in the edit if he is really F3?

Laurabadora14- I agree about your assessment of Jef feeling more for her than she does him. IMO.

Did anyone else think it was humorous that Sean's funny, good-natured Dad was named "Jay Lowe"?? I totally laughed out loud!

LOL Almost as good as "Harry Cox"...

I too think that Jefs "feelings" seem stronger than Ems though of course she cannot tell him squat till the end. However I find it really odd that he needs all those props to tell her his feelings and that she is falling for it. Very strange indeed.

Back to the topic of the thread..........I need to listen/watch shays deleted scene when I get home. Love her.

I agree with you on the props.... strange is a good way to put it. Curious to see what people think when they watch the deleted scene - to me Sean was telegraphing to his sis by his lack of verbal reply: 'Em is a great girl but she's not The One for me'.
