Also, if they want any of this post show "joy" to be believable to viewers they need to switch the tune in their PR and Promos because it currently has a very negative slant.
Basically, they've been a couple 2 months and they expect an audience to embrace a quickie, over the top TV wedding in the near future when a child is involved? Many PR lessons were learned by the Kim Kardashian backlash and mess. This romance needs time to bake.

An AFRC wedding would be ludicrous and irresponsible.
They need to get out of the bubble first, and that could go on for a few more weeks. If what they have is real, it will still be there a couple of months from now, when they've spent some time together in the real world.

I agree. I actually think the fantasy dates should change up a bit - give them more of a chance to find out if they truly have things in common. Eg. instead of planning everything out for them, hand the couple a plane ticket, tell them where the reservations are then let them find their own way there, handling their own luggage, taxis, etc. and instead of the over-the-top romantic dates give them $1,000-$2,000 to choose to do whatever they agree upon. Could change things up if you find out you don't like doing the same things or going to the same type of restaurant, etc.

I thought of this because a few years ago my husband's company sent couples to San Francisco for 4 days all expenses paid plus $1500.00 to spend as they wished (excluding shopping). We planned ahead and knew what we were going to do. A friend of our who is divorced had been dating a woman for 2 months and was going to bring her along. Well, he showed up without her and explained. He thought they could rent a car, drive down to Carmel spend the night at a B&B - she gets carsick on long drives. She thought going to the theatre one evening would be good - he doesn't like theatre. He thought a Segway tour would be fun - she thought it wouldn't and would prefer bus tour and so on and so on. Needless to day, they discovered that although they enjoyed having dinners together and had good conversations they weren't very compatible for many, many other things.

^^^Oh I love the idea and your story about the couple as well. It's kind of like Love in the Wild without the creepiness. I get a little turned off by the Fear Factor aura of that show, but I do like watching how the couples either work together or not and what their reactions are when they succeed or fail.

That's what the couples should do between the FRC and the AFTR live - (and of course no proposal at FRC). Fulfill some required 'adventures'/chores and then see how they feel at ATFR. You might actually get more contestants without the proposal bit. I also vote to take the Fear Factor creepiness out of Love in the Wild! Maybe contests on how they make the beds, do you let dishes hand-dry or towel dry (when no dishwasher); what videos do you choose, dog or cat? Ocean or pool or lake? Actually Emily asking what time Arie gets up was a move in the right direction for questions! Apparently way back when Ian and Meredith had issues there - Ian was a night person and Meredith wasn't - at least that's what I heard.

Well, maybe one of his interns whose job it is to read the boards will take the idea and run with it - if it is accepted hope the intern gets a full-time job out of it - just remember you heard it here first. LOL
