I don't know why people are making such a big deal about Jef and Arie meeting Ricki. Brad got to meet her, didn't he? And Emily was still 1 of 4 girls left when he met Ricki. I think Em is protective but it's not a big deal for a child to meet someone once. I think Ricki will meet both guys. I don't think Em had made up her mind entirely at that point in the show to be able to say she was going to introduce her daughter to one over the other.

I honestly think she was really torn about the decision and I'd want my child to meet my potential future husband before we got engaged. It's not like Ricki is going to get attached to either Arie or Jef in one afternoon.

I think it is a question because Emily herself said Ricki is not going to meet the guys and how bad she felt that she did introduce her to Brad. I agree that one afternoon with each won't harm Ricki, but our discussions are based on Em's words and feelings.
She has said in interviews that the guys did not meet her, but I still think Jef met Ricki.

Hmmm. Did we know for sure that Ricky made it to Curacao? This is potentially setting up a "decide later" scenario. It would explain Jef's virtually PUBLIC DATING if it doesn't in fact "spoil" anything, i.e., she's dating both of them after the filming wrapped. I'm thinking back also to those women whose lives were changed (LOL) by attending the viewing party, neither of whom left with a strong impression he'd won. Let's hold onto to this suspenseful scenario for thirteen days, why not.

Well it's been said the 'clock' thing means something...maybe she needs more time? Remember her deliberation before sending Chris B. home...'feel like my time is running out'. CH referenced last night...'what's ticking inside of you?'.

Another theory as I don't think MF is going to make this easy for us. Both go MTP, she goes on Jefs LCD then the next day prior to Aries breaks down feeling like she is cheating both of them. No matter what she has feelings for both guys. Goes a breaks up with Jef then goes on LCD with Arie with a clear mind of no longer cheating? This would also match the SCs.

I still think either one could be F1.

Do we have sc of Arie's LCD? Or just MTP?

I think in the scene where she is wearing the same outfit as Arie's MTP date her dad sas" I don't believe you can be in love with two people at the same time " then we get a clip of her mom saying something to the effect of " I would seriously hold of on an engagement at this point". Then Emi,y leaves confused. Something I read about the finale mentioned she was regretting them not meeting Riki but really didn't want to get her involved at this point. If one of the guys say they don't feel comfortable proposing without meeting her maybe that is the decision we see her struggling with ? Chris says you know what you have to do today and she says " I don't know how to even start that conversation". Well , it would be hard and confusing to a little girl trying to understand why mommy needs her to meet these 2 guys seperately and who they are etc. Maybe she doesn't know where to begin but totb wants us to think she sends on home early or chooses no one so it's edited to look like that.

Nutty, the only other thing i can think is that if the FRC was actually filmed around midnight, the talk with Chris H. could be the morning of the FRC and she lets Arie go then. I also think that at some point, Jef will get to meet Ricki - too much has been left in the edit with Jef talking about Ricki. Unless, TPTB are going to use this as more drama and a will Jef propose if he can't meet Ricki scenario will play out in the finale.
