Maybe Arie and Jef get to have a joint meeting with Ricki, like when Jason and Jesse hung out with Deanna's Dad together...Ricki gets to choose her new "buddy for life" after an hour of playing with two strange men in the company of 18 crew and directors and producers. (this is a facetious post but seriously the premise of this show is a complete joke except that the joke is only on those who treat it as a means to locate a suitable SPOUSE, much less step parent)

I agree - people should not (and probably do not) go on this show to find their future husband/wife. I would say 99.5% of the people go on with some other intention (the other 5% are fringe lunatics). But there are many people who have met their other half while filming a show/television series - some have lasted/many have not. So, it is not entirely impossible for people to meet while doing this show and fall for each other. I actually am starting to believe that this might actually be the case this season.

The odds are certainly terrible here. But that hasn't stopped people from going on this show, nor has it stopped people from playing the lottery every week for years, hoping for a big win, even though the odds are far worse for that. And truthfully, if you're the unlikely exception to the rule, it would end up being the best decision of your life, as I'm sure Trista, Ryan, Jason, Molly, Ashley, and JP would all agree right now.

I'm beginning to think that Sean was the one that decided to leave, and that it's the reason for the change. Sean could have been Emily's original F1 choice, and it would support what E News is saying about the current F1 being a default. jmo

Sorry, we're pages beyond this but I'm just catching up...I wondered this too when I read the article. The implication was that the rumor was about Arie and Jef, but the description sounded more like Sean and Jef--someone who felt it was too soon to commit to an engagement (a completely sane and rational position after six weeks btw). That could also explain the weird edit of when Sean left after the RC, Em wasn't saying anything to explain herself or comfort him--maybe she was the one needing comforting? I suspect it will go down as one of the many, many mysteries of this weird and awful season.

I think that it's could also explain why Emily is saying something about deceiving (paraphasing) both Arie and Jef to Chris H., after the MTP. Not sure yet if it's also after the LCD.

Imo, Sean went along with the RC as usual because it was one of the conditions TPTB gave him in order to leave. Remember, after the F4, Chris no longer will ask "if there is anyone who does not see himself proposing he should leave now (paraphasing). ETA:Also, remember how Graham was dressed at the RC when he was supposely turned down by Diana. He was wearing jeans because he knew he was going to leave.

Graham left at F4 RC which is more formally dressed than F3, when Sean left. Graham was turned down by Diana? Man sure gets around. :Smiley:

Since I've not been on this forum but a month, can anyone tell me what the reactions are to the Bachelors who kiss on all of the female contestants? Is there a term for them?

My personal feeling is that kissing mulitple men doesn't make a woman a slut. And the kissing we see with Emily on this show, while passionate, frequent, doesn't show heavy petting and body grinding, etc. along with it. I mean, kissing is as physical as it gets that we see.

Ever hear the term "man-ho"? For me it goes both ways. No exceptions. It applies to men as well as women.
