I'm beginning to think that Sean was the one that decided to leave, and that it's the reason for the change. Sean could have been Emily's original F1 choice, and it would support what E News is saying about the current F1 being a default. jmo

Sean doesn't seem like the type of guy that would lie about it though. He seemed really, really heartbroken and in his post show interviews he said he was shocked that she let him go and was truly in love with Emily. I just can't see Sean going along with a "fake" rose ceremony. Seems like way too good of a guy to "play the game."

I agree. In his interview today he said that he thinks "he built it up too much in his head at the time" which indicates that he was in deep not trying to talk himself out of it. He truly believed he was going to be the one she picked at the end, too. He said he feels differently now that he has watched the shows and has seen her interactions with the other guys.

The bolded is what we hear almost every season. One or other of those contestants let go say that they believed they would be last one standing until they watched the show and the leads interactions with other contestants. It's a mind F*ck - (ala Reid Rosenthal).

I posted this on another thread but since I saw it mentioned here a few pages back I thought I would share again :)

Did anyone else notice that Arie has something in his hand (a gift i would assume) when Emily is walking with him through the gate? I really think they are going to the MTP date and he has something for them. She had something she brought to her HTD too which would make sense that he would bring something for hers.

That really makes the think that she talks to her family when they arrive (just like most of the family portions have gone in the past, the lead sees them before meeting the 2 final people). Then she walks outside (we see her leaving the gated area) goes to find Arie...they sit outside and talk and kiss on the bench chair thingy...then they walk inside and we see him with his gift going to MTP....

Just an idea...

Also as a side note...I saw on twitter last night that someone mentioned MF in regards to a photo that Jef posted on Instagram and Twitter saying that he "needed a shorter leash" and that "GPS was on any everything...#justsayin"...

By the time i checked Jefs Instagram there was no GPS location in the photo but you could see floral plates next to the grill he was cooking at...

If Sean wanted to leave, and they told him that his only option to leave was to tell Emily he was falling in love and to stay for the RC, I have no doubt that he would. It was rather clear that he wasn't in love with Emily but FDs.

Sean does not seem like the type of person who would tell someone he was falling in love with someone if he didn't at least think he was. I can see production pushing him to say he was falling in love, but I don't think he would say it if he was not feeling it. Also, I don't think Sean ever wanted to leave because he looked really shocked at the RC when his name was not called. I also don't believe Sean was ever Emily's orginal F1.

You are right! Love me pulled out the tweets earlier and it coincides with F4 RC.

Makes sense as I don't care what she says or how it was edited. That was an easy decision for her and I am sure she just wanted it done and over with.

If it was such an easy decision for her and she absolutely knew it was going to be 1F, why oh why would she be macking on Arie so hot and heavy after she absolutely knew? Where I come from that is pretty much the definition of a slut. Not saying she is one, but if she absolutely knew, then what does that make her?
