Since Emily was sure that she will pick Jef ,it made sense to me to let Arie go early and spare him the embarrassment of going through the proposal ceremony. It is the right thing to do, IMO. Emily wanted the FRC to be about her and her F1 during the ceremony instead of going through an emotional rollercoaster like what Ashley had with Ben. I bet Jef knew beforehand that Emily picked him. I suspect Emily may have told him that she loves him that is why he is confident of where he stood during the Fantasy date episode.

I am excited to see the FRC and to see Emily with a truly great guy . Best wishes to Emily and Jef.

Ash let Ben propose. Jill didn't have to reject one, but two guys at her FRC, Deanna let Jason propose - why are M's men more special that they shouldn't be put through that?? this is what they all signed on for. Every male lead broke someone heart moments before he either proposed, presented a ring on a string, or promised to be the 'best boyfriend", except Brad who just broke two women's hearts within moments of each other.

If she lets Arie go the am of the FRC - why not just wait? At least with Chris she let him go before the LCD.

I say letting him go early will be a cop out and a huge disappointment to me as a viewer. I've not enjoyed this season, not getting the full meal deal at the end will just be another let down.

Some have said in the LCD SC thread they thought she was shown crying at the botanical gardens and that she lets him go before the date. It looks like they slapped a little teak chair for her to sit and cry on. Doesnt look like a bench or something that's supposed to be there. Anyways, I don't know. It is implied in the talk with Chris that she feels she is betraying them both so that would tell me she lets one go early. I agree with Anders if it's the am of the FRC might has well stop the boy before he proposes and let him go.

Don't they usually have the LCD before they MTP?

I rewatched the previews last night because of the speculation she sent Arie home first and pulled these together. The previews are definitely trying to tell us she lets someone go before the FRC (and I'm always skeptical of being told what's going to happen - it rarely turns out that way, unless there's a twist). Anyway - I pulled these together and they all appear to be the same - white tank, same necklace, while talking to Chris, standing crying and sitting on her own - the only diff I see is the brown band on her wrist in the first cap

what do you think?

Of note .. Her hair is parted on the right and sweeps down over her left eye in the top two pics and parted on the left in the rest and a bit messier also .. Which tells me 2 different times or they are flipped. Her usual part is on the left

Its possible the flipped some of the screencaps they have done that to us before. However, the bracelet, no bracelet thing is weird. Maybe she went back to her room after crying to freshen up and put it on then?

It is all the same outfit and appears to be in the same spot/area.

I will have to look more at home tonight vs. sneaking a peak here at work.

If the screencaps are somehow flipped, the bracelet is worn on the side that the hair parts to, and the bracelet is pushed up on her forearm somewhat. If you look at the 4th SC above, you might just see a hint of the bracelet at the bottom of the picture. And if not, it's possible that it is just out of view. Something to think about, anyway.

But, isn't it equally possible she just took a bit of time away, thought some more, and returned sans bracelet and hairband?

In the pictures of her standing with the band on her wrist it is possible that she still has the gold bracelet on as well...we don't see all that far down her arm and the bracelet in some pics is quite high on her arm/wrist.

In previous pics we have seen Em place her ponytail holder on her wrist when she takes it out of her hair. What if the band on her wrist is simply that at some point between when she talked to Chris and when she said goodbye to ?Arie that she was hot and had her hair in a pony tail off her neck and then ended up taking it back out. Does that sound like a possiblity?

TPTB allowed Ali to let Chris go before the FRC and if Emily decided she wanted Arie to go early , I say she got what she wanted. I disliked seeing the F2 looking emotionally crushed during the Finale anyway, I think letting the F2 go before FRC is the right thing to do, this way the FRC moment is just about the lead and the F1 with all happiness and smiles .TPTB may not change the format for all FRC, but this is my preference if I was in Em's place.

I am sure Arie's fans will be unhappy either way. Arie will be fine,I bet he already has a girlfriend by the time the finale airs.

Actually, CH has that look: I can watch that gal in that tight white tank top all day long. I hope she continues to flub her lines. The more she waves her hands and gets upset, the more the twins bounce.

I don't think she changed bracelets...since I think it's inconclusive to think she's not wearing it in some of the SCs based upon where it appears to be positioned on her forearm, referring to the gold bracelet.
