First post so go easy on me please. Longtime RS reader but just discovered this site yesterday when looking for more info.

It does seem possible that she lets Arie go early and then lets Jef meet Ricki. Maybe it even seems too obvious? Or maybe longtime fans like me are just reading too much into it.

Also, can someone please tell me what tptb is?

Her owns at least one coal mine but I've heard more. Her mother was seen briefly in epi. 1 (I think) because she was there to take care of Ricki. I believe they are divorced and her father lives in Florida, mother in West Virginia.

Where is this? (blue hotel in the back)

I didn't see where this was ever answered, so I looked up photos of the Kura Hulanda Hotel. There is a blue building with white shutters that's part of the hotel. It isn't an exact match, but it looks very similar. Was it ever determined where CH and Em are talking in this SC?

In Curacao, Emily must choose between her final two suitors in the Season 8 conclusion. Both men meet Emily's family and win their approval, making Emily's decision much more difficult as she struggles to decide if she should introduce them both to her daughter, Ricki.

Nothing about the LCDs. Was hoping for a hint.

Hmmm. Did we know for sure that Ricky made it to Curacao? This is potentially setting up a "decide later" scenario. It would explain Jef's virtually PUBLIC DATING if it doesn't in fact "spoil" anything, i.e., she's dating both of them after the filming wrapped. I'm thinking back also to those women whose lives were changed (LOL) by attending the viewing party, neither of whom left with a strong impression he'd won. Let's hold onto to this suspenseful scenario for thirteen days, why not.

I remembered how we know Ricki was there. The promotional images of her and a small child walking down the long dock are the Kura Hulanda dock.

I found it strange that Emily was staying at the same resort as Sean and Jef but later figured it was due to the fact that Ricki was there and it being a very large resort would probably have a lot of kid activities as well as being close to the beach. Arie is at a hotel in town where the frc is supposed to take place. This suggests to me that Arie was actually supposed to leave as F3 because tptb always love those shots of the limos driving to the rc.

As far as her dating both of them I don't see how that can have happened. Arie has been travelling almost non-stop doing his Indy coverage - def. away on weekends - this week which he has off he's just tweeted from Arizona that he's out at a club for dinner with a friend whereas Jef was seen catching a flight to L.A. where Emily just happens to be. Emily and Jef have both 'gone silent' at the same time at least 3 possibly 4 (I don't really keep close track of that stuff) times since the end of filming.

Except for the Ricki part of the above OLD post of mine, I concur that events have overtaken some of its relevance. Also, correct, I too am a longtime backer of the theory that J/E and not A/E have had opportunity and occasion to get together after May 11 wrap date.
