Is it possible Arie gets upset & decides to leave, so it APPEARS as if Sean is F2, but comes back before the rose cememony?

Maybe Sean actually said, "I'd like to be able to say that...I'm falling in love with you. I love you, but I don't see us together for the rest of our lives, so I can't give myself completely to you." (You know how they cut and paste!)

He's said twice that after his last relationship, he won't give himself completely to a woman unless he knows it is forever. So I can totally see him saying that. Then he takes himself out of the game--or she sends him home based on what he said--either way, it would be a shock to many people.

Remember the VO in the season premier preview, Emily said "If I were a 26 and single it would be different"? We haven't heard he say that yet, (not that we necessarily would) But I wonder if they could have anything to do with Arie? Maybe she feels he isn't ready to be an instant dad? We haven't heard her say much about Arie being a good father like she has said about Jef, and even Sean. Just a thought

Well, the extended preview did show him saying that he basically wouldn't be intimate with a woman again unless he knew he was in love. But, I think we'll see Emily telling both he and Jef that she doesn't want intimacy but rather sqt. She wants to keep her image intact and I think she's even said that she wouldn't be having any overnights in the FS.

That is what she was told. She has always stood behind F1 without a doubt but she didnt say she knew without a doubt on this one. Maybe she will come by and clarify.

I can see this as a real possibility. If he had already left (so to speak), would they have still had a cocktail party since there would be no RC? Where I am going with this is how dramatic it would be if Arie stepped into the party and told her he had made an a## of himself and doesn't really want to leave.

ETA: Ashley's hint about it being done before was 'yes and no' so this could apply to that situation.

But, would that be a shock to Ashley?

I don't think so. I think the shock might be that she expected Arie to go home and then it was Sean. It could also be shock at something that was said/done during Arie's date that relayed into him not getting the FS card (if that does actually happen). What made her sad enough to cry? Could also have to do with Arie's date and whatever was said/done. I'm thinking that Aries date not being shown in the extended preview was not a simple accident. They showed clips of both Jef and Sean in the evening after dinner and perhaps there were none to show with Arie.

Besides the obvious rejection type of hurt that she must dish out, do you think they'd show Emily doing something that is hurtful to the guys - something sad and shocking beyond the norm?

For example, she changes her mind about something or says something she doesn't mean or regrets? An emotional response or something kind of like Jason did but more in the moment?
