Thanks for saying this. I feel for Love_Me who has had to deal with all of this and so many pm's in one day! This forum was created as a free one and we are on the honor system. It's up to us to live up to that. There is no reason why people can't ignore posts they don't like, skip over them and still participate in the discussion. We know that foeing someone is also an option if people do not want to see posts from some forum members. So we do have some tools at our disposal.

We just need to exercise common sense and good judgement and remember that we are talking about a tv show, not real life!

Just to add to my previous post, maybe we could have a moratorium for a specific period of time. If things don't improve in a day, two days, or whenever, then some rules will be implemented.

My concern is for Love_Me and San. They are having to do too much extra work and babysit this forum. I am also extremely concerned for those who feel that they cannot post their thoughts without fear of retribution. That is the worst scenario because the fewer people who participate, the more people withdraw, the less interesting and appealing the discussion.

I am happy to report that I still haven't used my FOE list! Most of you won't see this post, but I'm happy to report it!

San and Love, just go dictator style on our butts. Issue an updated edict of The Way It's Gonna Be, and posters either fall in step or not. Show 'em the bazooka emote (nice job, Shelby) when they're about to get voted off the island!

Seriously, girls, please think about the way you'd like to manage things to bring yourselves some peace of mind. Mucho love and Ryan hugs (eeps!)

I think the one rule they have made here would work just fine - if people would abide by it. Unfortunately, as we have seen repeatedly during this season, people will not abide by it and they start snitting back and forth with each other. If Love_Me and San were to enact more rules and start enforcing them with repercussions, I don't see how only 2 of them, who are on here only part of the time, could possibly keep up with a site that is growing at the rate this one has.

Having said that, I agree that repercussions are necessary. I understand why San and LV do not want to become the internet police, but it appears if they don't that this board will not be able to live in peace.

A lot of the great sleuthers are also great snarkers. If people don't like the snark or hearing other's somewhat-negative opinions of the contestants, then they should stay in the contestant threads, which Love_Me so graciously suggested could be a place where they could fangirl without having to read something that might offend them. The snark is what it is and it probably won't be going away - it's on all the boards I've ever read. Generally speaking, I don't think fangirls make very good sleuthers because they can't help but want to make every screen cap and lead turn into their love story. In my opinion, it really does take an objective eye, without rose colored glasses on, to truly sleuth.

TWOP and Survivor Sucks are great boards for reading snark. However, they do not add the component of sleuthing dates and locations, etc. I don't think those people take this show seriously enough to care about that stuff. They're pretty darn funny, though!

More rules = more work for Love and San.

This forum is FREE for our enjoyment, and they spend HOURS every day working on it. So far, we have repaid them by bitching and whining like the pathetic hausfraus Reality Steve thinks we all are.

Honestly, I think people should be forced to pay $20 for every complaining PM they send to our mods. This way the whiners can at least pay for the work they generate.

Love Me and San, you guys are saints. You must want to foe us so hard and ban the f*ck out of us! Thanks for all you do.

Now THIS idea I absolutely LOVE!

A little impractical... but inspiring... how about for every 3 complaining PMs... the complainer is suspended for a period of time... since clearly, they have trouble getting along with other posters on their own...

And I'm happy to report I've used the FOE button a lot lately. I'm loving it! It's been great in reducing the comments I've no interest in seeing.
