Starting tomorrow Thursday March 3 2016, we will be deleting any posts that do not have a source. Posting any information without a source has never been an option, and I can't stress the importance enough. Here is a guideline to keep in mind and prevent your post from getting deleted.

IG - the proper way to source is IG higgins.ben

I realize some programs generate an @ before the username, but if it's IG, then either change the @ and replace with IG or simply indicate it's from IG. I need to check each source, to ensure it's legitimate, it's not spam, it's not porn, it's not private, etc  and it's time consuming to check @username thinking it's twitter then having to check IG. I do not follow anyone on IG because I need to make sure the account is not set to private. I don't save anyone's usernames and since it has to be sourced, it's best if it's done properly and clearly indicates where it came from.

Screencaps from your own source example, you DVR'd the episode, then took the caps from there. They need to specify "my own s/caps"

If you are viewing online, or youtube, and make s/caps you must post the youtube link or the online link where you took them from.

If vids are posted there must be a link, especially with ABC.

Saying it's from Ben's blog, or Ben's IG, or the People magazine, it's in another thread, is not good enough. If in doubt, simply copy the link and paste it the reply box.

Taking pictures of a magazine is totally prohibited unless there is a link that sources it directly.

It's always within the rules to post a scenario, going by memory, I think I remember reading, paraphrasing, I remember during so and so's season, there was a etc, as long as it's not posted as fact, those types of comments are always acceptable.

We thank you for your assistance, we greatly appreciate anyone who takes the time to bring pics information links etc to our forum which makes for good discussion. I know that this will alleviate a lot of work for us so thank you for helping us.

I will be moving some threads around and some will be locked and filed in archives. I suggest using the view new posts so you don't miss anything, otherwise if you look at the home page, you will see some changes.

You will notice the blue Like button is positioned before the multi quote button. It is safe to use it. I am still working on it, and hope to position it back to where it was.

Well, that wasn't fun. I aplogozie, there was nothing I could do. I couldn't get into the support forum, they were down as well, which meant it must have been a server issue.

I hope they've fixed the problem and we are up and running smoothly.

I apologize I don't know what the issue was for being offline for the past 6-7 hours. I hope we're stable now. I could not access the support forum either so I suspect it was a server problem.

We have found it necessary a few times now, to remind members that any posts related to politics are not allowed on our forum. I'm not interested in anyone's political views because there isn't a topic for politics, it specifically states in our rules politics are not to be discussed, and BachandBachetterFans.net does not support any political party.

Going forward, should there be any comments of any nature in regards to any political discussion, the member will be advised that they will be banned for a determined length of time.

This has been happening for several hours. I have informed support. I'll update here when I know.

I would hope that everyone is aware of the importance of this rule.

RULES

Private Messages - No Private Messages that are considered bullying, name calling, insulting, sexual advance, accusing, or prejudice. This behavior is NOT allowed and subject to permanent banning. No one has access to user’s Private Messages. If there is a problem, contact a Moderator or the Administrator. Going forward, we will not be asking to add a source to any SM gif's tabloids etc. that have been posted without a source. The post will be deleted. It's far too time consuming to have to ask for a source, then follow up to ensure the link was added.

Reminder: Any member is free to join any other forum they want. I want to make it clear as there seems to be some confusion. It's not within the rules, that you can't, everyone is free to do as they please. It's of no concern to me.  

However, we won't tolerate, members sending invitations to join another forum, trashing our forum, or stealing all our thread creations and idea's that went into creating this forum. I'm pretty sure you would do the same in my position. I'm sure you wouldn't welcome anyone into your home that calls you a b*tch. If you are not able to think and create your own forum, I suggest you seek marketing assistance. If you are a member and want to invite others from here, delete your account. We are not going to welcome any members who are two faced, posting here, and skipping over to the new forum, and trashing me, the moderators our members or this forum. I have received the most vile pm's in the last several months from members who are truly ignorant and rude. If you know someone that has been banned, it's for a reason. I'm not here banning members for no reason, I'm banning because we are being discussed in a negative and slanderous manner. Don't you have anything else to discuss? You were banned for the very same thing you're doing in the new forum. Would you invite someone to your home that calls you names? Do you have a dual personality where you find it necessary to post here and then do an about face and post nasty opinions there? This isn't the place for you. If you have an issue with me, email me, and I'll tell you exactly why you were banned. If you don't care, neither do I.

Stay there, you're not welcomed here. If you are banned and you rejoin, chances are you'll be banned again.

If you have PM's that you have saved from members that were banned, I apologize, you probably lost them. If you receive an invitation to join any forum, please PM myself or a mod. If you are a long time member that has been banned, it truly saddens me to see the disrespect after all these years.

As always I thank our members guests and moderators, who truly appreciate why this forum was established in the first place by founder Love_Me and San. A place to sleuth where we respect each other and always give each other credit.

FYI - Perhaps some are not familiar with operating a forum such as ours. There is a lot of administration, different codes, technical aspects, and security features, however there is no capability to read anyone's Private Messages.


It is against the privacy act to intercept anyone's private messages. There aren't any functions to be able to access it. As I mentioned up thread, if you have private messages from a member that has been banned, unfortunately they are lost. There is no way to retrieve them.

I hope that clarifies any myth regarding Private Messages.
