They will stay in your outbox until the person reads them, then they will be moved to the sent box That way you can tell if the message has been opened by the recipient yet or not.

I cant seem to find the switch so that signatures will be invisible to me. Please help.

Is there a switch to make the sigs invisible?

I honestly do not know if you can do that. I bet Love_Me will know. Hopefully she'll see this when she gets on. If she doesn't know, we'll contact support to check on it!

To add black_tears if you go into your profile it will tell in one of the tabs topics you are watching and you can ask to stop watching them there as well.

You can also change your profile settings to "No e-mails". Another thing that helped was when I cleared my cache and cookies out.

I contacted tech support about this and they said there isn't a feature that will hide member's signatures. There was a thread started to have this feature added to all Forums run on this server in the future though. I voted yes.

They did have some suggestions and I wanted to run them by everyone before we install this. I also, wanted to make sure I enter the code right so we don't mess up the site in its current state.

I have those codes saved if we decide to use them.

One code will re-size all signatures and the other code will make large signatures viewable, but there will be a tool bar that re-sizes that signature as well.

Thank you for the feedback. Frankly, I am surprised that making signatures invisible is not an option. I dont think I have ever been on a foum that didnt have that option or have a sig size limitation, at least.

Of the two options, my preference would be the code that resizes signatures but I respect that this is your forum and I will try to deal with it as best I can.

Hi seton,

We figured out how to re-size members signatures. I hope this helps. Some signatures were so big the threads became harder to read. I think this way was better then the scroll bar.

Thanks for the suggestion! Maybe in the future they will have an option that will allow members to make all signatures invisible.
