Roberto Martinez Jr & Becky - Bachelorette 6 - Discussion

I could be way off base but I feel like I've seen friendly tweets between Ashley and Jillian, and wasn't Jillian one of the people Ashley thanked for her support at the end of the airing of Ashley's season in her People blog? Ali was another.

For what it's worth, there's an article in the new edition of US Weekly on Ashley and JP's wedding that claims that Ali & Roberto did hook up but that there's little chance of them getting back together according to an anonymous source. However, the source also claims they had a great time together at the wedding.

I''m not trying to start anything - I just think that most of these folks are prolly more acquaintences than great friends....that's all.

Oh, I agree with that. I doubt they are really close, I figure it's more like the work acquaintances with whom you're friendly and wind up inviting to your wedding. If I'm right about Ashley thanking Jillian and Ali among others though, I think there may be that little extra bond that comes with that shared experience. Definitely not great friends level but, just a bond.

Previous season Bachelorettes mentor the incoming which we have been told begins with helping the candidate decide whether to take the plunge, and if she does, what to expect, how to respond, etc. We also have been told that the Bachelorette experience is considered emotionally awakening and like no other they have had in life. Thus, I bet the bond is rather strong --- more like between roommates in college than simple acquaintances or work friends.

I also believe Jill redid Jash's apartment - so that friendship was there post B'ette too

Jillian & Molly are good friends. I always think of the show as a kind of fraternity/sorority that bonds them together as a shared experience even if it wasn't your season. If ABC is footing the bill, there will be people attending that aren't close friends but you still get the people you really want.

I doubt we'll see Roberto & Ali get back together. Too bad she hasn't met someone special. I thought he had so hopefully this is just a rumor.

absolutely....there is no better looking man anywhere.

I really don't mean to start anything but in that wedding picture it sort of looks like Roberto is taking a glance at Ali.... I could be totally wrong.
