Chris was a part of a bunch of deleted scenes goofing around showing his sense of humor during Ali's season. I would say Jef has filled that role this season along with narrating like Chris did. Another reason I'm not sold on 1f being f1.

I honestly feel like it looks staged. An actually messy person wouldn't be that deliberate.

The last few episodes have felt very staged and overly scripted. IMO

I was literally referring to his room. Like each messy thing was placed right where he, his mom, or a producer wanted it to be. There was a kiddie game show in the 80s and 90s on nickelodeon called Finders Keepers. They staged rooms, sometimes very messy, to hide clues. His room looks like that.
