I know I've been a broken record saying I don't want Sean to be the next Bachelor, but I'd be all for it if he and John teamed up and both got to stick around for the entire season, unlike Byron and that other dude who wasn't Byron in Season 4. They'd be hilarious together.

The set up was definitely scripted, but the time together was way cute. I adore Sean, but not really loving Emily for Sean.

They might as well have said "fancy meeting you here" and then turned to wink at the camera. giggling

The puppet thing could have been a worse set up than the big chase, but at least Jef is a funny dude. I couldn't help but think what if Chris HAD gotten the last date instead of Jef, like he wanted...visions of a verrry intense Chris Puppet chasing around a slightly wigged out Emily Puppet.... Kinda creepy. :shocked!:

The other guy's name was Jay. That idea seemed like a good idea but the execution was pretty lousy. It would be a hoot with these two as long as through out the dumb part of the women voting with roses, white for one guy and red for the other.

Hopefully he'll be as fortunate as Chris was and be engaged to the right girl by that time. I'd prefer that over seeing him on BP, just saying.

Finally, Emily journeys to Dallas, the home of the tall, handsome bachelor Sean, who seems to be everything she has always wanted in a husband. As they spend the morning picnicking in the park, he explains about his last failed relationship and reveals that he has vowed never to become serious with another woman unless he was going to spend his life with her. Emily is very impressed with Sean's honesty, but she is in for a rude awakening. He reveals a painfully embarrassing secret once he brings her to his parent's home. Is this the end for Emily's supposedly perfect guy?

At least now we know what the focus of the finale is gonna be. Sean is Emily's perfect guy on paper, but she's going to tearfully follow her heart and choose Jef. Reuse. Reduce. Recycle.

not at all - to me the 'I like yous', the puppet show, the "marry the f** out of you' and her calling him a big kid had a very jr high feel to it.

having said that - I do see their connection and I can finally see why she would've chosen him.

Totally agree with Anders. Its not because he looks so young compared to Emily. Its the way he talks, what he talks and how he talks. That whole puppet scene while extremely cute was what a 16 year old with a crush would do to win another teen over.
It is what it is and if Emily sees this as a forever thing for her and Ricki - more power to her.

That was his date! Did he have any other choice than to play with puppets? And make the most of it? So that Emily wouldn't think he was dull? Plus, the guy does like to have fun.
