Too funny. I was like who is that man with Emily. Just surfing through these threads and that pic caught me off guard!

It looks like an older picture of Arie's parents! giggling

Tuesday, July 03, 2012 ABC Television Network PRESS RELEASE - ENTERTAINMENT - THE BACHELORETTE: Episode 809 (7/9)
EMILY SWEEPS THE FINAL THREE MEN AWAY TO THE ROMANTIC PARADISE OF CURACAO, BUT MUST STRUGGLE WITH HER CONSCIENCE WHEN IT COMES TO AGREEING TO THE OVERNIGHT PORTION OF THE DATES, ON ABC'S "THE BACHELORETTE"

"Episode 809" - Romantic adventures await Emily and the final three bachelors - Arie, Jef and Sean - as they travel to the tropical paradise of Curacao with the impending possibility of intimate overnight dates. There's electricity and passion in the air during of these sand and surf excursions, as Emily continues to explore what her future would be like with each one of these potential partners. She is faced with extending an invitation to each bachelor to spend the night in a "fantasy suite." However will this single mom trade her conscience in exchange for much needed private time with her bachelors? -- on "The Bachelorette," MONDAY, JULY 9 (8:00-10:02 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Emily and Sean kick off their tropical escapade with a spectacular helicopter tour over the sun-kissed beaches of Curacao. They spend the day snorkeling and frolicking in the crystal clear waters. Later that evening Sean opens up to Emily about his feelings for her. But will he feel the pressure to speed things up and express the fact that he loves her? In the fantasy suite, it's a battle between Emily's head and heart, as she wrestles with her decision to allow her date to stay the night. Will she let her heart's desire override her judgment?

The next day, Emily treats Jef to an afternoon on the high seas, sailing aboard Curacao's luxurious Insulinde. The couple shares a romantic paddleboard ride to Klein Knip, a secluded white sand beach. That night, they reunite for a private dinner along the seashore. But despite the chemistry between them, Jef is focused on the big picture, including Emily's daughter, Ricki. Is he a natural fit to complete Emily's family? Will Emily and this smooth bachelor allow themselves to give into their passions in the "fantasy suite" or will she ask Jef not to spend the night?

On her last date, Emily surprises the handsome Arie with a sea expedition aboard a magnificent catamaran. The two drop anchor at beautiful Fuik Bay where they swim with a pod of dolphins. They spend a passionate afternoon wrapped tightly in each other's arms. Although Emily has never felt a shortage of attraction for Arie, will the day-to-day details of his life mesh with hers? At a candle-lit dinner Emily grills her potential soul mate about their future. Will she offer him the opportunity to stay overnight with her or will their intense physical connection stand in the way of a "fantasy suite" invitation?
Emily has experienced a distinctly different path to love with each of these men, and it has left her feeling more vulnerable than she expected. After an emotional deliberation, she is overwhelmed by tears, shaken by the turmoil she faces over her pending decision. She moves cautiously to the rose ceremony and says a painful good-bye one bachelor. She and the final two bachelors toast to continuing their adventure on Curacao. Emily's journey to find love is quickly coming to a close. Whom will she choose - but more importantly, will they choose her back?

The three remaining men are:
Arie, 30, a race car driver from Scottsdale, AZ
Jef, 27, an entrepreneur from Salt Lake City, UT
Sean, 28, an insurance agent from Dallas, TX

You would think that ABC would get this right.
Em and Jef went to Grote Knip and Sean and Em went to Klein Curacao.

"Until ABC began scheming to assassinate it?" Too funny! rofl

CBS moves dating show premiere to dodge ABC’s ‘Bachelorette’ finale

The escalating war between ABC and CBS over their respective fame-seeking-narcissists-live-in-totally-wired-house series now threatens to also consume both networks’ date-to-mate reality series.

In the latest development, CBS has been compelled to move the unveiling of its new dating series “3” to Sunday, July 29, after learning of ABC’s plan to attack “3’s” originally scheduled Sunday, July 22 launch by moving its season finale of “The Bachelorette” to the night.

Not only does ABC intend to move “The Bachelorette” finale to Sunday night from its usual Monday berth, it plans to follow that broadcast with its first-ever live “After the Final Rose” post-finale special at 10.

Back in February, CBS announced it had ordered a new dating reality series called “3” that’s kind of like “The Bachelorette” — except, on this one, three chicks will simultaneously kick the tires on the same three eligible guys, to see which they’d like to select as their made-for-true love.

And, on CBS’s show, based on a wildly successful Israeli format, a guy may turn down the advances of one of the chicks if he’d like to hold out for, you know – the cuter one. This does so much to restore the natural order of things, and made this series far more realistic than the Disney fairytale that is ABC’s demographic hit “The Bachelorette.”

On the producer’s web site, in a snippet of the Israeli version, one of the chicks goes out on several dates with her guy of choice, until he suddenly announces, “It’s not working. It’s not working. You can’t force it.”

“So — you say it’s not working?” the woman responds, seeking clarification.

“No,” the guy explains again, while gallantly resisting what had to have been a strong urge to hit her over the head with a brick.

This thing had monster hit written all over it.

Until ABC began scheming to assassinate it.

Two months after CBS announced its “3” pick-up, ABC announced it had picked up a “Big Brother”-esque ‘The Glass House,” in which 14 narcissists shack up in a totally wired house, their every move controlled by viewers, while competing to win a quarter of a million dollars.

CBS cried foul and sued ABC, claiming the show is in violation of its “Big Brother” copyright. In its suit, CBS noted “The Glass House” employs many former “Big Brothers” staffers who, CBS claimed, had disclosed trade a secrets and violated the non-disclosure agreement they had signed while working on “BB.”

In June, in advance of its broadcast-network premiere, ABC debuted a live stream of “The Glass House,” um, house, so the world could see the show is not so much a “Big Brother” knockoff as a “Big Brother” parody.

Unmoved, CBS filed a request for a temporary restraining order to halt the ABC show’s production and squash its June 18 launch date. ABC fired back that it had already spent $16 million marketing the show’s launch, adding that a temporary restraining order would “seriously undermine the show’s potential success.”

And by “potential success,” turns out, ABC meant just 4 million viewers — the number of people who caught the premiere in mid-June. Because CBS lost its legal battle to stop the launch of “GH.”

That 4 million who watched the premiere was about 1 million fewer viewers than the “Big Bang Theory” and “Two and a Half Men” reruns that CBS had cleverly slipped into the “Glass House” timeslot in the dark of night, replacing the “Hawaii Five-O” repeat that had been scheduled.

While ABC licked its wounds from that skirmish, CBS launched an aggressive propaganda campaign, issuing a gag announcement saying it had just ordered a reality series called “Dancing on the Stars,” in which D-listers would dance for big prizes on the graves of dead Hollywood luminaries.

The Reporters Who Cover Television declared CBS the victor:

“Outstanding Achievement in Fake Press Releases: CBS announces ‘Dancing on the Stars’,” announced Web site Hitfix, adding, “The network lost the legal battle over ABC’s ‘Glass House,’ but it won the comedy war.”

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly marveled, “Check this out — hey, it’s CBS showing a sense of humor (kinda!).”

This past Monday, ABC responded with Operation Take Down “3” which that network put into place on one of the industry’s Take out the Trash Days that fall right before a national holiday and people presumably aren’t paying attention.

But CBS suits did notice, and on this week’s second Take out the Trash Day — what with July 4 falling on a Wednesday and all — and made its counter move.

Not sure how accurate Hollywood Life is but they're confirming that Emily and Jef have already started planning a wedding.

In the media thread, I posted an EW article out today discussing that RS named the winner. It's interesting that EW doesn't actually state the projected winner in their article and instead points to RS blog for the info. I find the move interesting since EW is in bed with ABC given their relationship and the coverage allotted to the show (CH's blog, Recaps, Show Announcements, etc). It feels kinda like a set up of some kind to me.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Fleiss has been trying to set him up for a fall since the last time.

Even with spoilers there's always the chance that the spoiler is incorrect. Until the first guy/gal steps foot out of the limo, there's always a chance that we've been Fleissed.
