oooh i'm interested in Geogre Clooney and that female wrestler! NOT.

Seriously, this article is a joke, ignore! Brad wishes Emily was sending him secret messages.

Last year Black Tears said she knows someone who works at Life & Style and a lot of their stories are speculation, just stuff that sounds good and their readers might believe. I mean, look at all of the people here who are saying yeah, that could be true. That's what they do. Life & Style also printed a negative article about Roberto right after the finale aired, hoping to appeal to all the Chris L. fans who wanted reassurance their guy was the right choice. Fans seem to really dig Roberto now but at that time Chris was the overwhelming favorite and their writer knew what he or she was doing (making stuff up!!!) would sell.

@cfck2222 I think you might be able to answer this.

I was wondering has L&S alluded to Jef being the winner. I know they said there was an engagement, but I am wondering if they have given any hints as to who?

I'm newer to this, but to me, this new tabloid story ties into to the recent statement (can't remember if it was by CH or Fleiss) that they've never seen the fans so split over the F3. That's probably what they're selling, Emily sooo torn between Jef, Sean, and Arie. To me, this story isn't really pushing the idea that Brad and Emily are hooking up because there's trouble in paradise, it's about Emily confiding in him that she had strong feelings for more than one guy and can't help wondering if she's with the right one in the end. It's good for ratings to keep the Arie vs Sean vs Jef debate going, selling three love stories rather than one, if as they claim the fans are so "split." Plus there's the latest media circuit featuring all three guys, and wasn't there a thing with teamjef, teamarie and teamsean t shirts being sold for different charities? Just a thought.

The reason I found it hard to believe was the whole "Emily's been in touch with Brad". I'm pretty sure she said they hadn't been in touch since ending things and then went into the policically correct "He's a great guy, yada, yada" speech but I just got the feeling that things ended badly and can't see her getting in touch with him. Especially after his "dodged a bullet" comment.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.

@cfck2222 Thanks for all your analysis! You are clearly the go-to when folks need clarification in trying to understand the tabs. I look forward to Wednesday mornings to see what you have to say each week.

Well, in the "Yes! I'm Engaged!" article L&S referred to the F1 being spotted in the Charlotte airport on May 31st. I guess that isn't necessarily a leak but certainly the sleuthers here were able to put 2 and 2 together. One of the L&S articles this season (I think the same one) also had pictures of the f4 (not identified as such, but magically featured, gee I wonder why) with larger pictures of Arie and Jef compared to Sean and Chris. That was a visual cue of those 2 guys being the most significant this season. In this week's article, Jef has the most closeup picture of the f4, but also, why would Emily (allegedly) be disappointed in how (allegedly) calculating/strategic he was on the show and question things as a result if he weren't her F1? It's through things like that the tabloids reveal the F1 without revealing the F1.

DURING their season when L&S was the recipient of production leaks, and again, as is usual the cover tease doesn't necessarily reflect the story inside. It remains true that Life & Style was overwhelmingly positive about Ashley and JP while recipient of production leaks, which for whatever reason appears to be in contrast with how they're handling Emily's season now. Thank you for the opportunity to clear that up, I should have been more precise in my original statements.

To be honest, my first thought was to put that part of the story in the same dustbin I put the Ali & Jake REUNITED! stories during his Bach season (I don't remember which tab was running those). To me, the noteworthy aspect of the L&S story is not the specific Brad claim, but the negative representation of the lead/F1 relationship from the tabloid that was supposed to be the friendly one with production. It's just odd. The Star and OK stories from this week are also in the dustbin as far as I'm concerned based on their recent track record with the show.

I guess that's the segue into my main point about the tabloids and selective leaks. I don't necessarily buy into all the specifics, even from the friendly tabloids with access. I mean, it's honestly such an odd feeling to "defend" the significance of a tabloid! Believe me when I say I haven't forgotten that they're tabloids! But, we're also talking about a tabloid friendly show, a situationally scripted show that feeds into the tabloid culture and depends on the tabloid culture to feed into its buzz. So, the overall orientation and storylines from select tabloids - those are usually clues. It's about the motives behind strategic leaks and storyline focuses more than it is the content of the leaks themselves (unless specific leaks are verifiable).

Thanks, cfck2222, for giving us the roundup and analysis each week. Regarding L&S, could they be leaking that there will be a change of heart coming up? Maybe Em did not seek Brad, but he does represent someone who has gone through this process and stuck to his convictions. Maybe seeking Brad is Em re-evaluating the process and determining if she has the guts to go back to her first choice - Arie.

Thanks, cfck.

I'm wondering if there is some truth to Emily reaching out to Brad ... if for no other reason than to apologize for appearing to be fickle on his season and the grief she gave him for that. Emily has fallen down that same rabbit hole, and MF loves it when he can show the contradiction in his contestants.

FWIW Here is what I found on the L&S article in question.

Bachelorette Ashley Hebert thought she was going to live happily after once J.P. Rosenbaum proposed to her on May 13, but as soon as the show started airing — their relationship grew strained. J.P. got so jealous of watching Ashley with the other guys that they dumped Ashley!

“J.P. ended it,” a friend tells Life & Style magazine. “It just wasn’t working out, and when J.P. is upset about something, he’ll just say, ‘Okay, it’s over.’”

During the After The Finale Rose special that aired on Aug. 1, Ashley confirmed that it was super hard for J.P. to watch the show.

Another source claims that it was the distance and secret status of their relationship that made J.P. run. But thankfully, he couldn’t stay away from her for long.

“A few days later, they got back together,” says the friend.

“Since they patched things up and their engagement is out in the open now, they’ve got new hope and are looking forward to living together,” assures the source.
