I don't think Emily would introduce anyone to her child unless she was sure. Brad only saw Ricki once. I think Jef is getting to know Ricki and that is a great sign. No worries here :Smiley:

I find it interesting how they fail to mention Jill when it comes to post –show gigs. She is the best example of not being a flash in the pan and using her skills/talents as she venture into TV – especially now with her new show Love it or List it Vancouver.

But then again that would mean Em would have to have some skills/talents…bet she can whip up some mean boiled eggs!!

I'd throw in Dr. Travis as another great example. A syndicated TV show and a national commercial aren't too shabby.

And the negative tabloid press is coming right on time. The show needs any attention it can get at this point so I wouldn't be surprised if the producers used whatever contacts they have to try and stir up drama.

Further editorial commentary: Nobody from the show appears to be interested in redeeming this season to the media.

They are angry with Emily? This is interesting. The men of BachNation seem extremely supportive of Arie and irritated with Emily as well.

It will be interesting to watch the rags for the next couple of weeks. I don't think they've been showing as much interest as in past seasons but that may change. Perhaps the lack of interest has been because the ratings are down or maybe they just haven't been able to get as much 'inside' scoop as in previous seasons. I wouldn't be surprised if they do a couple of flip flops over the next 2-3 weeks just because they haven't got any better indication of what is going on with the couple than we do.

Thanks for the update cfck2222! Last season, Life and Style reported that JP dumped Ashley because of Ben.

LOL. I'm taking everything with a grain of salt. We'll soon learn much of the truth.

I'm for taking tabloid stuff with a grain of salt, but it's not true that Life & Style reported JP dumped Ashley. What's suspicious here is the Life & Style has been the supportive tabloid for the franchise the last few seasons, for Ashley & JP's season, and even for Ben and Courtney's season where they didn't overly sensationalize Ben and Courtney's problems. And, Life & Style ran the usual "I'm Engaged!" exclusive cover story with FRC details that ABC/Next's production approves at this time each season a couple weeks ago, one of several indications the cooperative deal with ABC/Next was still in place.

I checked the media archive for Ashley's season and Life and Style did do a negative story. The cover said something about how she was betrayed by her fiance. The one part of the Life and Style piece that I find overly suspicious is that Emily's been getting in touch with Brad. I find that difficult to believe because despite what they say publicly I don't think it ended as amiably as they let on to the public. I'm actually wondering if perhaps Brad himself got in touch with them and some of their story is based on that.

I can see how it would be suspicious with L&S by your description of what they're known to do. Before this board, which I only joined 2 weeks ago, I'd never been spoiled with so much information and never kept up with the tabloid publications, etc. to know what their trends were regarding these things. I do know it sounds disappointing to me that this week L&S chooses to go the negative route wherein last week it was all smiles, happily engaged, etc. My usual thought with any of the tabloids is one of disbelief.

And this stuff with Brad is ridiculous...I hope we don't get subjected to him ever again.
