Glass House is doing very poorly. I could see them swapping it out for the finale with the ATFR.

I thought it was touching. Will a heart-to-heart talk between the Bachelorette and Arie's mother save this hometown date from turning into a disaster?
Sean's embarrassing secret? Ugh. I dont want to know.
I hope that we get to hear Arie speaking Dutch in Curacao.
Tiger, where can I find those previews? Thanks!!

From one of the releases we hear that he and the family spoke dutch to each other...excluding Emily. I think she no likey.
That would have been totally rude and uncalled for if his parents can speak English!!

After the lawsuit and the way CBS clowned ABC in that press release last week, I can't imagine ABC cancelling Glass House, if for no reason other than pride. JMO, of course.just logic wrote:Maybe they're waiting to see if Glass House is cancelled - heard it was getting some negative reviews and bad ratings.

Agree, 100%.
They buy a certain number of episodes, and sell the ad-time in blocks in advance. Not easily pulled, plus the egg on face factor you describe. That slot is the least likely to open up IMO. So, see? It's weird.

The ad-blocks are sold with certain guarantees of viewership. If the viewership falls below that number, then the network is forced to do buybacks. No network likes to do buybacks, it forces them to sell the ad time again, at a price discounted to less than the buyback amount.
If the show is tanking, it WILL be cancelled... there is no pride involved. Just $$$

Fair enough, Rich. But don't you think it's odd programming planning? Would they block that show out to fail? No. So maybe they were looking at Tuesday night?
And P.S. I'm only obsessing because this was a year I had a personal interest in the schedule. I don't actually think this is the Be All / End All of sleuthing. I've accepted Jef as Typical F1 from the day of the Mustique photo being sleuthed out....even though some days I think it was ARIE on that boat with him off Port Elizabeth, popping a beer with Pete, Elan, Cassie, Mike, and Martin.

I wholeheartedly agree with that... I can't imagine they were counting on GH to fail in advance... I don't have any idea what their original plan was for airing the ATFR or the MTA?
As you and others have said... this season is insane...

It might just be as simple as the fading ratings, and inevitable aging of the franchise has eroded whatever clout MF has held with the network over the last several years, and they weren't guaranteeing him a slot for his two 'supplemental' shows...

I've been wondering if it was just because ratings have been so low, they didn't want to waste anymore time on this season. They may just do a recap on a Bachelor Pad episode, or during the last 15 minutes or so of the finale. I'm sure they'll do something though.

They haven't put the MTA on the schedule either. And we know they are going to have it.

I think all municipal water is treated, isn't it? I'm not being snarky - really thought that to be the case.
In my personal case, we live in the country with well water as our only source. Straight out of the well would be yucky, that's why we have a water softener and a water filter - so it's more potable. Here's an interesting article about bottled water coming from municipal sources and other questionable sources for those who are interested. If you're not interested, please scroll on.

Sorry to be so off-topic. I shall get off my soapbox now.
Bottled water is NOT an eco friendly product, period. Your graphic tells the story perfectly. Bottled water companies like Coke (Dasani) and Pepsi (Aquafina) don't care. The ones that want shelf space at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods type stores do care, but the degradable bottles (which IMPROVE but don't RESOLVE the issue) are very expensive.
There are infinite superior more efficient more carbon friendly means to drill wells in third world countries, which is an extremely laudable goal.
My younger son attends a private, highly progressive middle school. Waste free lunches, etc. They are not allowed to bring bottled water to school. They are trained to use refillable stainless steel water bottles. That's the eco-friendly DOGMA these days.
So what "Cody" was talking about is a challenge for start up bottled water companies. Their target market -- affluent liberals -- if they are smart about ecology at all knows that the "right" answer is to avoid bottled water, and donate money to drill wells.
The Grand Canyon has banned sales of bottled water inside the park. Utah national parks are trying to do the same. Colleges are doing this as well. http://www.heraldextra.com/news/national/ivy-colleges-shun-bottled-water-in-a-jab-at-billion/article_d6f0b720-43fa-59e8-bbe8-693a33d45363.html
And wow, am I now off topic or what.
I find it odd that nothing has been said about Coke, Pepsi ect being in plastic bottles and have been forever.. I wonder if people think when they reach for the 2 liter bottle of Coke. "Oh no this is the same as bottle water"????
