I actually loved the moment in the preview when Arie's mom asked Emily if she wanted to speak to her privately. I thought it was touching.

although Jason did speak with them before he proposed. and in their circumstance that was all he was going to get, since her parents wanted nothing to do with the show.

Right. And we know how that turned out. Plus, Jef told Emily that he broke up with someone his parents did not approve of. It seems that their approval is critical to him (but not to Melissa.) If it's critical and a potential deal breaker to him, then how did he do it? Did they fly to Curacao? Was there no proposal at the FRC , but only after his parents met Emily secretly in SC? I'm just brainstorming here.

My guess is Jef knew his parents may not approve of the other girl and honestly knew it wasn't going to workout. He may have speed up the break up due to that but I think it would have happened anyway. I am sure if the rest of his family liked her he knew his parents would as well. He also proably knew what they didn't like about the other girl and knew that was not an issue with Emily. Just my guess.

I still wonder if she didn't "meet" them via Skype or something like that, even if its not shown.

I've been thinking about the tv news info about Ricky's parents not wanting Em to do the show. And the fact that they aren't talking to Em but still financially helping her and Ricki out. I think this isn't a true story. Reason being that I don't think the Hendricks would want their name drug down the tabloids as not speaking to Emily over Emily doing the show. In hopes of finding love and a father for her daughter. I personally can't see them doing that. But then again I don't know them. JMO

If I remember correctly, Meredith didn't meet Ian's parents either before their engagement.

Another Monday press day come and gone with no slot established for MTA or ATFR.

Awhile ago Cassie tweeted that she couldn't answer about MTA or ATFR tickets, and told the fan to tweet her again last week.

Seems MTA is taping July 8 or vicinity.

No date for ATFR.

And even stranger, no time slot available. (And the primetime slots between July 9 and July 17 are largely taken up with major shows, with their own press releases out already, so they are selling ad time).

So, maybe it will be a sharing of the 120 minutes allocated to episode 809 or 810, or Bach Pad. Which is financially weird, given the contracts, but could happen I suppose.

Maybe they're waiting to see if Glass House is cancelled - heard it was getting some negative reviews and bad ratings.
