Emily is , unfortunately, starting to remind me of DeAnna and that is not a good thing.
It's all about MEEEEE.
Perhaps it's not so much that Arie dated Cassie 10 yrs. ago as much as the fact that (perhaps) they pretended not to even know each other. I think they must have let on that they didn't know each other otherwise Emily would have asked "How do you 2 know each other?" Therefore, she would have seen it as being deceived or played. It's one thing not to tell her, it's another to pretend you don't even know her. I think that explains Emily's line "He's a pretty good actor".
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.

I agree. Also, per Jef's interview, it appears Arie was worried that EMily thought he was hiding something. I tend to think this wasn't just a conversation Arie and Jef had in Prague, but maybe more than 1 time. Even if Arie was told by TPTB that the Cassie situation was "taken care of", you would think he would realize at some point that Emily was waiting/wanting him to mention it on his on.
I think it's Jeepers who has been saying that the Arie edit is all about trust and truth and this is the way I see it to. All the Kalon stuff, the going to see Emily after Ryan's departure, the upcoming Cassie stuff in Prague and probably something that we will see on HTD are all highlighting this issue with Arie.

Yes... this may be it. She feels like they played her for a fool.

I am impressed.
Fleiss said that the bach show is about 66 hours of air. We are what? half season? Shall we say maybe 35 hours?
And some of you know her soooooooooooooooooooo well in 35 hours and from reading a couple of trash magazines!!
again. I am impressed. Claiming all the trash things some of you are saying about her in such a short time....
yep... I am impressed! some of you deserve an award or something.

"Reality television frequently portrays a modified (...) day-to-day life, at times utilizing sensationalism to attract audience viewers and increase advertising revenue. Participants are often placed in exotic locations or abnormal situations, and are often persuaded to act in specific scripted ways by off-screen "story editors" or "segment television producers" with the portrayal of events and speech manipulated and contrived to create an illusion of reality through direction and post-production editing techniques." ~ Wikipedia |

This is exactly how I find the posts in the Jef thread. He's had even less time onscreen and only been in this season, yet some know all the intimate details on exactly what he's like. It's funny isn't it?

You've seen the same amount of her. Which makes your opinions just as valid (or invalid) as those with which you disagree.

I just want to say (in reference to the extended preview) that I LOVE Prague. It's the only place I've been outside of the US and it was such a fun experience! So when Arie and Emily are standing in front of the giant clock, and Emily says something along the lines of, "Can you believe how many people have stood right here?" I was grinning like a goof!! Arie and I have been in the exact same place (several years apart!).

the major difference is that we give the benefice of the doubt that he is a great human being, half of his work benefits third world population that are lacking clean water, that there is NADA scandals behind him and..... 2 fans in this forum met him in person.
HUGE difference in my book
versus people who just trash a person and already condemn her without knowing her in person.

Re: Bachelorette 8 - Videos - Discussion
Early on, Love_Me told us there was nothing to the rumor that Emily was upset about Arie-Cassie. My theory is that all the players in this drama are play-acting it out because TPTB saw how much publicity it had stirred, so they went back later and injected the scenes with Emily and Cassie, and whatever VO or PI fit that storyline. What kind of producers would they be if they didn't pounce on it? We need to see if Emily's roots show more in the scene with Cassie than they did in other scenes supposedly filmed then. And identify the place where it was filmed. Ok, maybe I'm kidding a little, but I wouldn't be at all surprised!
