I think the truth lies somewhere within. I think it was quite a big deal....I also think at this point, it is done and over in all their minds.

I agree that he doesn't have much this season - I'm not saying he does. I just dont' wanna throw out everything he has given us based on the few things he didn't have completely right.

i'm actually finding it more enjoyable that we don't know with certainty anything that happens after next week.

I do think they have been messing with RS.
Other things that were off.
He said they were going to Toronto when they went to England.
He had the Madrid Fantasy Dates wrong
He had the Charlotte RC wrong.
Lots of little things that in and of themselves, are no big deal but when you add them all together, they chip away at his level of credibility.

She can support Cassie all she wants, but that doesn't absolve Emily of her own responsibility in all of this. She knew how manipulative these folks are. She should have had Arie's back. And she should have stopped playing games and just flat out been forthright and asked him about what her concerns were.

If y ou go back and rewatch that scene. You will see it is a vo. Emily's words do not match up with the movement of her mouth.

And this is why I really like this board! I am still not conditioned to notice the things most of you never miss!

Seeing as how it's later in the date, possibly the end when we see her say, "nothing would make me happier" I think she might be responding to his invitation to go to his hometown. They usually have that conversation during this time right?

I think the Deleted Scenes (which are for diehard fans only, a few thousand people if you did the web analytics, I bet) are to prove up the story that is being shown of the Emily/Jef romance. He held back, made her pursue him, said lots of words to confirm interest but didn't go physical, all to lead up to this "pivotal" episode (per the story being aired, as he says in the press conference). It supports that story. No grand love story was being hidden from us, it was building slowly. The only lements we are missing are STOLEN GLANCES during the first four to six weeks (!) of filming. The deleted scenes are part of their Story, and are necessary to understanding the Pivot in the story that occurs in Prague, where they (we are to believe) tumble into a strong physical, romantic bond, after weeks of these awkward exchanges in front of the cameras. That said, for viewers who don't yet know the ending, to air those scenes during the 120 minutes allotted each week would be bizarre. They are awkward and weird to watch because they don't GO anywhere. They are just a part of the slow build that need to be "out there" somewhere to help us make sense of what the marionettes are acting out in what was an important experience in the progression of their romance. Make sense?
