I think it's a cliche to wear a Leger dress for an appearance these days but she looks good and it's appropriate.

I personally think she looks her age, she looks fabulous and I wish i was still skinny!

I was never impressed by Sean as much as I am now for the FD episode and aftermath. He is one hot and decent guy! I believe more this week than before that Emily made some damn good picks for her Final 3 --- all 3 are gems!

I think RS got it wrong and Roberto will not be the next Bachelor. When he came out with that spoiler, it led me to believe, and probably more than just me, that none of Emily's men were strong enough to carry a show.

Today I think the next Bachelor will be Arie or it will be Sean. I can even imagine MF hiring a trainer to buff up Jef and featuring him as the Bachelor, if he wasn't Emily's F1, or if sometime in the future the they aren't working out. (Never "when", for hoping they can beat the odds!)

I don't know if it's for Emily, for The Bachelor, for his health, or just for general "presentation" purposes, but he does look like he's been working with a trainer already.

I've personally always liked the idea of Jef as Bachelor. He'd be "the thinking woman's bachelor", kinda what Ben was supposed to be but failed so miserably at (JMO).

Never watched his season because I didn't like him on Ashley's but - Ben was supposed to be thinking????

LOL this word-play is too funny! The "thinking" goes with "woman", not with Ben. So, just in case it was confusing, what I meant was, Ben was supposed to be "the thinking-woman's bachelor". The kind of bachelor that an Emily O'Brien, phD student, or a red-headed Jennifer, cfo/accountant, might go for. Like how Tina Fey or Chelsea Handler or Emma Stone might be considered "the thinking man's sex symbols". Or perhaps how Ashley H, Ivy League dental student, might have been "the thinking-man's bachelorette".

Based on that video, sounds like The Machine is doing all they can to keep the show relevant until the 22nd. Positive or negative press, they don't care. True or not, notice how the walking off rumor ties in so nicely with their previews shown last Monday as it provides another hint of doubt for all of the crying jags and hand wringing. The average viewer isn't analyzing every word that accompanied those scenes or determining the possible sequence of events. They just see a mess that videos such as above reinforce.

In the preview, Jef says she has everything he has ever wanted and Arie is kissing her saying ILU. The only doubt in the preview is her doubt. Not from the guys.

It's kind of funny though, how surface appearances don't always tell the tale. Looking back, Brian from Texas on DeAnna's season struck me as someone who actually might have been the thinking-woman's bachelor unedrneath the "jock" appearance. He really won me over when he posted on his MySpace that Maya Angelou was the person he'd most like to meet.

ratings for this season haven't been great - it's now crunch time, and they've moved the date of the Finale - so, as you say "any publicity is good publicity" and for anyone who hasn't been watching regularly (like myself) they need a hook to try and get us holdouts to make sure we watch.

Apparently Perez Hilton is reporting that walk off rumor too so they are definitely trying. I wonder if Fleiss is buddies with Harvey Levin. If they can get TMZ to run it, that would help a lot.

Arie's mother spelled it out and I think she knew then that the life with Arie wasn't what was best for Ricki no matter how hot the kisses were. Hot kisses don't make a life long marriage but stability and being there for her will sustain a relationship. No way she would leave Ricki and travel all over for 6 mos out of the year with Arie on the road especially if wanting babies and ll that entails!

Her reign is almost over. Looks like it's Emily's turn to experience the lead's annual rite of passage, i.e. being thrown under the bus for the sake of finale ratings.

Remember how Jilly was left to twist in the wind all by herself post-show when she chose Ed? I don't think it'll be that extreme in this particular case.

I believe if she is a smart girl she would want to know if the person she chooses can support her especially if she relocates. Most of us would not entertain becoming engaged to someone without thoroughly checking financial situation, living situation and fundamental outlook on life. Jef meets all those needs.
