Re: Bachelorette 8 - Videos - Discussion
It doesnt matter if there may or may not be hard feelings between them now. What matters to me is that I see no sign that Sean wont do the same thing all over again to another sweet girl since he showed no empathy, remorse, plus little accountability when reciting what happened in the most important romantic relationship of his life. Pee-thetic.

Re: Bachelorette 8 - Videos - Discussion
Sean could have opted to spin the situation any way he wanted instead he took responsibility and ownership of the relationship's demise. We don't know any of the specifics about their discussions or arguments. Personally, I don't even understand the concept of arguing about getting married. If that kind of thing happens, it seems to me after the initial conversation, the parties involved either opt to stay in as is or part ways.
Also, about doing it again to someone, he clearly has already told Emily he won't get involved with someone that he can't see marrying. Thus, one date in a year before the show.

Nutty1, I can no longer take the Sean fangrrls' word that Sean is a great guy. The way Sean described his relationship as if the way he treated her and acted was reasonable was, frankly, chilling. :Frown:

After reading what is being said here along with the direction Sean's character appears to be moving on film, I'd say for whatever reason, Sean is a bit immature.
I guess you can never judge a book by its cover, other than, Sean is one good looking man!

Much like I can't take Jef's fangirls' words that he is a great guy. It goes both ways. Same goes for all the other guys too.
Sean is giving a limited explanation for the demise of their relationship. There is likely much more to it than that. If you decide to believe Sean is some horrible person when he's in relationships, that's your choice, just like I'm inclined to believe he isn't.
I really shudder what some of you would think of my roommate and how her relationship with her ex-fiance eventually came to an end. Truthfully, people do much worse than what Sean did and end of having perfectly good relationships with someone else. My guess is Sean just hasn't found "the one" and when he does she will be one lucky girl.

Hi
I dont know who you are and I dont know why you are so bothered that I think Sean is a creep. As u say, it's my choice to believe that Sean is a creep as I am very sensitive to sociopathic traits when I see them. And I see them in Sean.

Sean might be a little self absorbed. He would have to be to keep a body looking like his does. I think when he finds the right person, he'll be a great husband and father. Same with Arie. They are all great choices.

I'm not really bothered by your opinion, I'm just stating mine which is clearly in opposition to yours.
For the record, I don't think there are any sociopathic traits in any of the guys this season. And I think saying such takes it a little too far. JMO.

I agree! But I certainly understand getting creepy vibes from someone that everyone else seems to love, seton! Unless Sean is a robot, I'm 100% sure he's not perfect.
ETA: Now that I think of it though, Amesbot wasn't even perfect!

Totally agree - all the F3 are great guys.
I think the whole conversation with Sean is merely editing to show one of the reasons why Emily does not pick him as F1. Unless the two people involved in the relationship choose to talk publicly about the breakup, we we will never know the truth about Sean and his ex. IMO, the conversation as shown in the previews, certainly raised a few red flags with me, especially as I have been in relationships with this kind of passive aggressive behavior in the past.
