Yeaah, this just confirms it for me that this season is 'eh' when you have members posting back and forth about how to talk to each other . Anyhoo, just waiting for my cupcake wedding!

Yeah, I gotta say, not a "fangirl" here ... the lecturing that goes on about the lecturing is enough to make me hurl. On all sides. (Although the Sean lovers seem to keep it in check.) Ironic, no?!

Lecturing starts with moderators. They are lecturing us to remain civilized at all time.

this forum has 6898 members and maybe less than 100 active posters and probably less than 50 very chatty. Put 50 people in the same room knowing that they all have different background, personality, origins, nationality, ages etc....

some are calm and collected and some more passionate and loud... Lecturing is not fun. Lecturing makes us all cringe. But sometimes when people do not get it, making it explicit by words is the only way to calm down and take a step back.

I am glad that we have mods that lecture us to not bash and keep this forum happy and not attack each other.

In an ideal forum, we would not need lectures. We would all live and share our fun and be happy little campers.

ETA: if people would listen the mods, then we would not see lecturing from the members of this forum. just saying.

Really not surprised they don't appear to be having one. Although I am sad it means I won't get to see Sean on an ATFR, that was the only reason I was going to watch.

So do you all think any kind of post-season follow up will take place during a slow epi of Bachelor Pad when they need filler or try to bump up the ratings?

While I think most of MF's tweets about Bachelor Pad reek of exaggeration, he seems to be really pitching it - as if the sleaze and hook up factor has cranked up a notch or 3.

I know he has to build it up but I wonder if part of it is because Emily's season has been so milquetoast? While I like the guys on the show, the season is really bland and the flow is stilted to me.

there is no one good side and one wrong side. we are a team sharing an addiction and we see the edits differently.

sometimes a conversation can turn into a nasty argument and this is why people try to take the role of peacemaker, some will take it as lectures.

if people would just remember that words can hurt, then we would be way more happy.

the big issue is that only a couple of people are targeted. We should not generalize to one arie side and one jef side. Unfortunately it turned into if you are not MY side you are AGAINST me.

Lets not label each other fans or non-fans.
Appreciate that everyone comes from a different place.
Alot of the individual perspective of posters of this board comes from a personal place (life experiences, values, ethics and morals) and has nothing to do with a contestant.

How many had heard of People Water before?

Remember that article that said Jef came on the Bachelorette to promote it and to find girls. He certainly is promoting People Water...don't know much about girls, but he sure poses with many of them! :hidingchair

Some are speculating the ATFR while not a timeslot of its own could get incorporated into the final episode. It all depends on how the ending pans out. When contestants are let go- have they got extra time to fill. etc. guess we will see...

I don't know - IF the couple was broken up I could see Emily sitting down with CH to discuss what happened - but I don't know if I can see ABC wanting to do that again. I don't think the public would support her if that was the case ... most weren't buying her story the first time she did one.

Either they should be able to present a happy couple or just ignore it. Hype up the BP drama and whatever romances come out of there, then immediately put the attention on Arie or Roberto.

MF's tweets have been working on me. I'm excited to watch BP!

The season is falling flat IMO. It's basically Emily macking on 3 different guys every episode (really 4 but they cut out Wolfner's make out session last episode) with no real storyline. Arie is the only one with any conflict however, it seems to always get resolved in the following episode. JMO but the way she can go at it with all 3 the way she does tells me she isn't emotionally invested with any of them. She's just having fun, she's just doing what the Bette is supposed to do. <----- her words not mine. As of now I don't see a change during the FD's either.... and a week later she is "engaged".

Honestly, I think the majority of contestants come on the show with more than one motive- it doesn't make it bad. Some are truely open to finding love and if they don't at least they have gotten some publicity for their company, business etc. Even someone like Doug- real estate agent- this raises his profile in the community and could lead to more business.

Re the girls- the only comment I will say is that one of our board members attended a viewing party and Jef was there and there were a ton of pretty girls and he didn't flirt, he was just a nice guy. So my guess is that is tabloid fodder. But if he didn't get Emily in the end and going on this show makes him more appealing to more girls- go for it. Same for all of the guys- Arie, Sean, Doug etc. Go for it and find your love that way.

I can hardly believe people take this so seriously. It' freaking tv. It's little more than a game show with someone "winning" at the end. It's fun to read about it, follow clues and have a fav that you're rooting for, but it's just really NOT THAT DEEP.
