I know everyone here was spoiled as to Jef being the f1, but in that interview he may as well have said "Yep it's me that Emily picks"...now I just have to wonder why it's ok for it to be stated so blatantly who won when there is so much of the show left to air.

And he's kinda arrogant about it in a funny/cute way IMO. LOL. Like "FYI peeps, yep, she chased me out of all the guys and we have amazing chemistry, thanks for playing!"

what it think is that he thinks that Emily already knows his connexion with Cassie so even with hints and all he would not get what she was talking about because there's nothing else
this can be a misunderstanding if Arie thought that Emily knew about the situation with Cassie and did not do something else thinking she was talking about something else omg i just can't i hope it's not that Rolling Eyes

Well, it could be a big old red herring and one of the other two guys is the F1.

Or, since this is the first time they've ever had the F3 do teleconferences while they still on the show, they're still figuring out how to handle things? Unless the questions are all approved beforehand, it's difficult to micromanage the guys' answers. They can probably give them general ideas about how to answer certain things, but maybe not much more than that.

Like I said, I do think Jef is the f1...and knowing how MF loves to bring drama and shock value to these shows, he better have something more than the Arie/Cassie caually dated 9 years ago thing. MF has a reason for letting the f3 give these interviews before they even are the f3...we just haven't found out the "why" he allowed it yet. That's the curious part to me.

I wish we could get the audio of these calls like we used to. That always helped clarify things when you could hear them say it.

I very much got this impression in the beginning and I know others did too as I recall it being discussed. And frankly I like it. Yes, the lead is there to be chased but at the same time s/he should be showing the bach/ettes that the interest is mutual.

Me, too. I like these interviews because we get a different perspective than hearing Emily repeat her PR script and approved talking points. I do think it's a great new tactic yet it's confusing. I get that the Machine wants to control the message but it's still so early to have someone projecting victory. Remember when they wouldn't film the ATFR until right near the end because they feared leaks?

When you toss in the current edit, it's even more intriguing. All I can come up with is that they are seeding the market in preparation for the ending which might be surprising to the unspoiled ala Jason? Remember, the outcry?
