Having Sean so visible creates a little bit of doubt and something for viewers to speculate about until one of the mags spoils it all.
Now Wetpaint has joined the fray. "Bachelorette Speculation: Why Emily Maynard Picks Sean Lowe (Maybe)" The author brings up some good points about Sean in the article about why he could be the one. Specifically, this one stood out to me:Then ABC sent a follow-up e-mail to add that Sean would be talking to the press too, to promote his first date with Emily on the London-set Episode 5. That’s ... unusual. On the call, Sean gave tons of heavy hints about being Em’s Chosen One, including that he was looking forward to going back and watching the episode because it’s where they kicked off their relationship and the sparks first started flying. He also said he’d love to go back to London. “I could see a wedding there, if that were in the future, or a honeymoon, sure." Why would he say all that if he got dumped and was broken-hearted? He’d have to be going along with some producer-driven manipulation ploy. Does that sound like Sean? Why would he help the show send viewers in the wrong direction? To what end?

Isnt it possible that all the guys knew what the deal was after the first couple of weeks: that being that none of them were going to have a long term permanent relationship with Emily.
Perhaps Sean loved his time on the show, loved knowing Emily, loved going on dates, loved being with the guys, but wasnt encased in the Bachelor bubble. Perhaps several of the guys realized this was going to be a wonderful summer romance, but they would all be going back to real life sooner or later.
Sean is grounded. He has firm, deep roots. I think he would be one of the least likely to be overwhelmed by the fantasy, but most likely to just enjoy it as long as it lasts.

Someone asked me where past discussions can be found about The Bachelorette 8.
Here is a link to Sean's past threads and other archived threads about this season:

I'm still focusing on that Wetpaint article. Especially the part where they spoke of him now opening a twitter account and following the same minister Emily follows that happens to be in NC. That does sound like a strange coincidence? Can't for the life of me figure out why he would agree to go along with all this if he's not the F1. But i still trust Love_me, as painful as i have to know it as truth

Or, he is F2 and is really happy with how it's all turned out. That's my favorite theory. And, ICAM with your post, jelle.nd4reality wrote:txjen wrote:dee wrote:Yeah it's probably a promotional push. I mean, Sean only gets one 1-1, so, I think they have to show the audience as to why he makes it F2. The group dates don't high light the lead and the guy's connection as much.. at least not as much as a 1-1 would. (except for that ep7 kiss )[/quote/]
Yea i understand the promotional push, but i would think for Sean this would be like rubbing salt in his wounds, yet it doesn't seem to bother him. I mean he could refuse being he was the F2 and the rejection for the 2 and 3 has to be unbelievably hard since it hasn't been that long.
2 things came to mind when I read this and I maybe way off base here....
1. Sean did not fall in love at all with Emily and is fine with doing these interviews. However, he used terms like sparks fly and the start of their relationship etc. so that tells me that this was a really, really good date for him. He could have described the scenery and the food instead but he spoke of their relationship.

Rich and stuckinsc, my grandparents were original Bucs season ticket holders. Back in the days of 0-16 seasons and paper bag heads, my grandmother was so hardcore that she would not leave the game until the clock read 0:00. My grandfather, OTOH, would usually head for the car near the end of the 3rd quarter and just wait for her. :laughingoutlou I wish they had both lived long enough for the Super Bowl season.

Trust me, I cried enough for both of them... God bless them!
I went to USF from 77 - 79, and we all cried when they won the first game after 0-26, too!
