Isn't he supposed to turn up the heat on the group date, too? Doug bolts, Chris pouts so it's gotta be Sean that delivers the romance that is in the epi group date description.

To add:
Sean is obviously a 'no drama' type of guy. His personality appears to be very laid back, always smiling, not pushing himself to the forefront.
Emily said that he gave her butterflies not only in her stomach but in her heart.
I believe that she felt quite secure with him.
Her friends liked him.
She gave him the last group date rose to ensure a HTD.

BUT, it was the HTD with Jef just prior to Arie's and Sean's that changed it up I believe.
I really do not think that Sean's family was a problem for her or gave her cause to think less of Sean.
They appear to be a wonderful, exciting and loving family.
They share the same faith community as Emily does.
Shay's kids would have been fun cousins for Ricki to play with.

So it may have been that Sean just was confident in what they had, not realizing that in a way, this was still a competition and his to lose after Arie was cut at F3.

Underestimating the competition is always dangerous and hindsight is 20/20.

Jef's claim to fame ...."People always underestimate me".

Did you'll see how brown he was in that 1st picture his sister posted ? Hugesmile

None of the other guys were that tanned in the first pictures we saw of them after re-surfacing. :yes:

Its the sun-screen.

Yup that's my best guess. I love that he is the only one not mentioned by name. What's up with that?

Oooh thats a good one - remember DeAnna on Brads season lol.

He didn't have twitter or instagram before and on the show - maybe Emily wanted a a husband constantly tweeting and sending out pictures. Strike.

Guess he's learned the error of his ways!

You - we, obviously we've all seen that you've got this connection with Emily. But did you have any idea of what stage the other guys' relationships were at with her when you were in the show?

Jef Holm: Yes, pretty much all of the guys except Sean. We would come back from the dates, and we would all talk about it. And we'd all, it was kind of just like a guessing game. We'd all ask questions and try to figure out, you know, what happened on the date? And if they kissed or if they developed like a good chemistry? Or what kind of happened?

And, all of the guys except Sean would talk about it. And Sean was just - he was this locked vault. He just would never talk about anything that happened on, you know, his date with Emily or anything.

At this point in the journey, who did you see as your biggest competition? You had to have had some sort of like jealousy for other guys at this point.

Jef Holm: Up to this point, I mean, I - like I said, I became good, really good friends with Arie. And I knew he's a - he was a great guy. And I had no idea about the whole, him dating a producer thing. And so, up to this point I thought. I knew Arie had a really strong connection with Emily. And so, I wouldn't see it as competition.

Because I honestly; I mean, I think if you love somebody, you want them to be happy. You know, and I didn't see Emily and Arie as a bad thing. You know, if they did - if they did work out; or Emily and Sean. I think - I think Arie and Sean were probably the two that I knew had really big connections with Emily. And Sean because I didn't know anything. I mean, all I knew is that it was good. And he was still around and getting (roses) because he wouldn't talk about his dates. And so, and it was just interesting. So, I would probably say Arie and Sean.
