How do you think she played him? When I rewatched it earlier today, I suspected that something must have been off in his demeanor towards her after the games which prompted her probe about what's going on. After that snarky speech about the cup, I don't really blame him for being leery. In medieval games, the winner usually gets the prize or recognition from the Princess..Lady, etc in attendance, which is part of the reason the contestants try so hard. It's like she missed that part and chalked up his performance to his athleticism.

I wondered if she was speaking from experience when she tells him to stay confident even when things get hard (in the future).

As I said, I'm probably a bit sensitive to his situation but it just came across as a tad not genuine on her part. I know she had a lot of fish to fry on this group date so she just wanted to re-assure him a bit and then move to the next 'project' but it seemed as though she was doing a bit of lip-service. Maybe I'm wrong but I found her hard to read this episode. The whole thing came off rushed and clipped and it was.

Oh, it definitely came across as rushed and minimized. Then, seeing the clip upthread where Sean's talking about some kissing that we didn't get to see either. His edit in the whole epi was confusing.

OK, it must be hiding in this thread somewhere, but where is a screen cap of Sean shooting an arrow? That shot was glorious. Even if I'm more of a fan of some of other guys, that shot was one to drool over. I was sure you'd have it here!

I almost wonder if they are holding back a little with Sean because she is so far ahead with him that it would give away the fact that he is one of the final ones if not the final one. I remember they held back on Roberto big time in Ali's season... :gotcha:

This was posted in the Croatia/Prague SC thread. I think my favorite part of this picture is that fact that it makes me realize Sean looks strange when he isn't smiling. Must be the first sign he smiles a ton! giggling

Preview showing Sean looking for Emily. What confuses me is why is looking for her in the street? Hopefully they explain enough of his motivation and what not so that it makes sense.
