I love her comments about the show..she's very pro-Sean.

Saw these in the next epi description - the bold parts are Sean, right? Sounds like he may bring his A game to the encounters.

When the group date card arrives, Chris is crushed when he learns that he will be joining two other bachelors on the date. Despite his visible anguish, it is actually another more impulsive man from this group who will slip out of the hotel and look for Emily on the quiet Prague streets. After anxiously searching, the desperate suitor finds Emily and they share a sexy late-night rendezvous.

Despite a gorgeous setting at a majestic castle in the hills outside Prague, Emily's plans for a romantic group date outing go awry when one man's reticent behavior toward her turns awkward. Will his panicky attempts to try and turn up the passion succeed, or will there be another decisive move on Emily's part? Later that night, with a rose and a hometown date on the line, tensions rise as the men vie for her attention. One man ardently romances her, but Chris spends his time chastising Emily for not giving him a one-on-one date. Emily finally gives the rose to the bachelor who most impressed her.

That makes my day! This gets me excited again. She said she liked to be pursued. Now she really will be!

The beginning of the second paragraph sounds so much like Doug, that could be a hoot!

Not much to say about tonight's epi..except I do think that Sean seemed a little more reserved or perhaps, looked a little confused or dismayed by what was going on around him. It did seem like their few moments alone were snipped again but it falls in line with the story being told so no big surprise.

Besides rocking that kilt, he looked simply fabulous in that blue t-shirt during the down time gab sessions - great smile and I hope some of you talented folks make some cute pics for our viewing pleasure.

Yes, from what little we saw of Sean tonight, he did seem a little less like himself, especially when he sat down with Emily for that short chat after the GD. I think part of the reason he seemed confused is because he did not get the memo that they weren't supposed to actually treat it like a competition, even though that was what it was!! Then it was turned into a negative at the end when he was the actual winner of the competition. I don't know if Emily even knew how that came across, but she sort of chastised Sean and the other guys, those who were muscular, that thought that it was supposed to be a real competition. That was certainly confusing to me as well. When Emily started her little speech as to why she chose Chris, it looked as if Sean was thinking "What just happened here?" So, I would imagine that that whole incident made him a little more reserved and less confident afterwards. I didn't see him smiling like he usually does either.

I felt like that speech was all wrong. She may not have meant to be mean, but it sure came off that way. I do agree that because of that he did seem very confused and therefore reserved.

Yes, they showed Emily's speech to the guys and then a PI of her discussing it later. I actually thought that what she said on the PI was even worse than the GD speech. I sat there and wondered how Sean must have felt last night while watching all of that and hearing what Emily was saying afterwards. It certainly felt like it was all being directed toward Sean, even though I am sure that it wasn't. Anyway, it was just hard to watch, and it took some of the fun out of watching the group date for me. And that quite honestly was what I looked forward to seeing the most.

Not only her pre-Rose speech rubbed me the wrong way but also that PI where she bagged on about muscles etc. Good gosh woman. You have just insulted one of your finalists !!! Not cool.

Emily can most certainly send out mixed messages at times. I really start to question the sincerity of the things that she tells these guys. For the most part, Emily does try to be kind with her words. So, I would like to think that Emily let Sean know during their talk after the group date that she wishes that she had worded it differently when she handed out the bravery cup. They showed such a short little clip of their time together that it was hard to tell what they talked about. However, I do think that Emily picked up on the vibe that something was "off" with Sean by what she said to him, by encouraging him to remain confident in how she feels about him.

I need to watch that clip. yes she definetely noticed something off. Poor guy probably got a real beating to his ego as well. But that clip was super short. Darn editors.

I know I will be laughed at on this, but I cannot get over a few things that points to Sean being the F1. Not that I want him to be the F1 anymore with all the stuff from the TPTB.

1) The hug and nestle from ND4reality signature. The sign of pure contentment
2) The kiss next at eppy and I mean she was definitely into that kiss . Not the hands hanging around the next like Arie's.
3) Last night she assured him of her feelings and pretty much reminded him that when things get tough to remember how she feels.
4) I noticed that most of his PIs from the last 2 shows, he is wearing the suit and shirt from the photos of the wedding he attended. The same weekend that Em was in LA.

Just some weird stuff.

I don't understand why Sean or one of the other guys couldn't have had Travis' 1 on 1 date. Seeing as how he didn't stand a snowball's chance at staying, he could have gone on the group date. Of course, that would have messed up their she's in charge script at the end of the epi. At the very least, they could have cut Ryan's long goodbye and included more of the group date. The editing choices are messed up to me. Although spoiled, I would prefer to get to hear the thoughts and see more time with the viable candidates such as Sean.

Even with a dearth of screen time, Sean's still leading as the best pick on with 47.8% of the 13500 votes cast on Hollywood Gossip. So, I don't think viewers would mind seeing more of him even if he's not the winner at the end. The cynic in me thinks his high approval rating will lead to even less time because The Machine is going to have to sell the ending with so little time left.

I don't think there's any way Sean could have had Travis's or Ryan's date last night, because he's just had a 1-on-1 the week before. I don't recall anyone ever getting back-to-back 1-on-1s before. But, judging from the episode description for next week, it sounds like he might as well be on a 1-on-1 date. Can't wait to see it.

If it weren't for John, we wouldn't have gotten to see what was up Sean's kilt. Thanks, John! BTW, the most impressive thing about last night may have been the way Sean just pulled Doug up like it was nothing. He has superhuman strength, and I can't allow my mind to dwell on that any further.

I agree - He is getting a weird edit. By weird I mean weird, good. . Which makes it really confusing. Like a gradual progression of a relationship despite the Arie tonsillectomy kissing and despite the even more confusing Jef1 spoiler. Perhaps he gave them 0 to work with but all the guys had PIs where they show their competitiveness and basically gossiping around the others but they didn't show us this with Sean. All they did is show that he wanted to win those competitions which he did .... in grand splendor I might add .

As to your bolded - it was just a black suit and white shirt which I'm pretty sure he was not above re-wearing so I don't read too much into that. Unless he took some red-eye flight to LA after the family wedding to do more PIs and rendezvous !


On another note, also wanted to ask you all what you thought of that scene where she is talking to and even kissing Chris in plain sight of the other guys (her F3). I almost died laughing seeing that few second clip of Arie and Jef leaning over to get a better view. Emily really knew how to make her final guys feel secure !

I also hope that Sean is better at reading Emily's body language, so that he does not get down on one knee and propose. He strikes me as someone who only wants to propose ONCE in his life, so I really really hope that Emily will start to give out clear signals that she is pulling away from Sean toward the end. I would imagine that her kisses with Sean will start to change by that time, wouldn't you think?

The best case scenario for me would be for Emily to let Sean go before the FRC. I just don't want to see Sean get hurt.

I am sooo looking forward to the HTD. While I love Jef, I would probably have picked Sean as F1 if I didn't read spoilers. So I'm wondering what sways Emily's mind towards Jef (if that is what really happens). :Smiley:

I really like Sean too..But with the edit..
First they cut out his intro...his 1/1 time with Emily..and he isn't getting a second 1/1.. Does give him some strikes against him...But I would be very happy if he was Emily chosen..

I know the lead quite often states that they've fallen in love with more than one but, I don't remember Emily saying this. In the preview for the next rosemary she states that she's found love (or something along that line) but I don't recall seeing her say that she had fallen in love with more than 1.
