Do you guys think that Sean was default F2 since all of the Arie stuff happens. I'm starting to wonder that myself. I honestly wish they hadn't shown us the Prague thing at all. I don't really see the need for it. I get that Jef likes her, but i don't see much there at all...Its like Jesse C from Deanna's season. I never could figure out why she chose him.

Sean is terrifyingly strong, and looks like he could break a lot more than cabers, if you know what I mean, and I think you do.

That's all I got. Tonight's episode was deadly boring.

I thought tonight's episode was good. It explained a lot about why Emily would have picked Jef as F1 if rumors are true. She revealed a lot in her PI's tonight IMO. Even Sean revealed that he thought the prince in the movie Brave wasn't going to be him. and that he didn't know who it was going to be but that it might be Jef. I think Sean's more observant than anyone's giving him credit for. JMO.

He stays until the end, so I doubt it. And he's not overly competitive about her, so I don't think it's an issue. As much as he may have wanted to win the Highland Games (and it made total sense -- an athlete wanting to dominate an athletic competition), he doesn't seem terribly bothered by the thought of Emily spending time with the other guys, and we don't see him expressing negative thoughts about them, which is the mark of over-competitiveness to me, anyway. From where I'm sitting, he likes Emily a lot, but I don't see him trying to "win" her. I think he's just seeing where their relationship goes, just as she is, and that's why I think he was able to bounce back fairly quickly after the FRC.

True. I see what you're saying. I don't see him as being overly aggressive with trying to win Emily at this point either. Maybe he will step up his "A" game next week when we get to see that steamy kiss between them. I'm just concerned from tonight's episode about why he would be hanging back. by hanging back I mean that it seemed like he was pulling back a bit.. closing off a little and not sharing too much and I also worry that he needed to have reassurance by Emily on the GD.

I don't think Sean needed reassurance from Emily on the GD at all, but maybe that was just how it seemed to me. I'm annoyed he doesn't get another 1-on-1 date. I think that might be the biggest thing against him.

Actually after this eppy, I am really glad that Sean is not F1. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out with Sean. As for Jef and Arie, more power to them. TPTB seems to be manipulating them into positions that in the end seems more harmful for any relationship. They allow Jef dates after Em problems (just like JP), and then screws with Arie's. Now Em is trying her best to pacify Jef using instagram and blogs. The problem is she really was into Arie so I am not sure she can blame TPTB. What a mess.

It did seem like their few moments alone were snipped again but it falls in line with the story being told so no big surprise.

Not much to say about tonight's epi..except I do think that Sean seemed a little more reserved or perhaps, looked a little confused or dismayed by what was going on around him. It did seem like their few moments alone were snipped again but it falls in line with the story being told so no big surprise.

Besides rocking that kilt, he looked simply fabulous in that blue t-shirt during the down time gab sessions - great smile and I hope some of you talented folks make some cute pics for our viewing pleasure.

Yes, from what little we saw of Sean tonight, he did seem a little less like himself, especially when he sat down with Emily for that short chat after the GD. I think part of the reason he seemed confused is because he did not get the memo that they weren't supposed to actually treat it like a competition, even though that was what it was!! Then it was turned into a negative at the end when he was the actual winner of the competition. I don't know if Emily even knew how that came across, but she sort of chastised Sean and the other guys, those who were muscular, that thought that it was supposed to be a real competition. That was certainly confusing to me as well. When Emily started her little speech as to why she chose Chris, it looked as if Sean was thinking "What just happened here?" So, I would imagine that that whole incident made him a little more reserved and less confident afterwards. I didn't see him smiling like he usually does either.

It was wacky so I don't blame Sean for being confused by her choice. At that point, it must have been odd for him (and Arie/Jef) to have to sit there and watch so much time being consumed by guys that they know she isn't going to keep around such as Doug and John. All of them knew that Doug hadn't even attempted a kiss, that she thinks Chris might be too young and Wolf is just kinda there.

How silly he was for thinking the point of the competition was to win, and not just to try hard. On my timeline, a bunch of the Bachelornation peeps (including Millsy) were perplexed by Emily's choice. But I thought, even before the episode, that it was preordained for Chris to get the rose. And, actually, after the manipulation of the boat race, Sean probably shouldn't have been surprised by the producer's shenanigans.

Actually, the real point of the competition was to inform us whether the boys were wearing anything under their kilts. And, sadly, Sean proved that they were. Shucks! :Frown:
