I was watching some JP and Ashley clips and I noticed what I think were some pretty strong tells he was the one mainly from her body language and her PIs that showed she favored him. I will say that I only watched a few early episodes of Ashley's season at the beginning (I just wasn't interested enought to keep going) and I could tell it was JP early and I only knew who her F4 were. I was pleased when I tuned in for the finale that she chose him because they really are so great togther. I think the same was true of Ali with Roberto, though I wasn't personally rooting for him.

F1 spoilers aside, does anyone think she has had any tells yet toward any of her F3 that seem to point to her favoring them?

I'm not even sure if it's possible to be truly unbiased when it comes to this show, but I feel a little less biased than usual this season, since I have a favorite -- guess who? :laughingoutlou -- but I don't want him to "win." I can't really pic up on a "tell" that Emily has with one of the F3, but not the others. So far, I think she has the best physical chemistry with Arie. I also think she looks to him for emotional comfort, and is upset when she doesn't feel like she gets it, as we saw last week. I think she's greatly intrigued by Jef, with his "cool" factor, and his almost hesitant approach with her. I don't see great physical chemistry between them yet, and even though he made her feel better about the Kalon situation, I don't really see her seeking emotional support from him either. I see him offering it preemptively, and that's certainly valuable in its own way. I don't think Sean and Emily have passionate physical chemistry the way she and Arie do, but I think she feels a lot of physical comfort with him. I mean, one of the reasons it seemed like we debated purple tie guy since before the season began was because it was immediately obvious how safe and contented Emily looked in that guy's arms. So, as I've said before in the other threads, I think Emily has different relationships with each of these guys, and they each give her something different. And maybe it's because of that that I don't really see any "tells" that would make me think she strongly favors any of them at this point (I do think she slightly favors Arie right now, though).

On a somewhat unrelated topic, there is one thing that's caught my attention, but it's an editing issue. During Ashley's season (and I wrote this in a post that's lurking somewhere in the archives), I felt like every time she and JP talked, we were joining their conversations "in progress." It always felt like they would reference conversations they'd had earlier, and I'd always scratch my head wondering, "how come we didn't get to see them discuss that?" This season, I feel like we keep getting these "in progress" moments between Sean and Emily. For instance, the first time we really see them talk, during the Episode 3 GD party, Emily starts out by referencing their earlier (unseen) conversation about Sean's selectiveness. And when she gives him the rose, she says it's because he's backed up all the things he's been saying, "since day one." And in last week's episode, we saw him reference their previous (again, unseen) conversation about liking a girl with a little bit of edge. Anyway, it's not a huge thing, but I've noticed it, the same way I noticed it with JP and Ashley, and I wish we were getting to see all these conversations that we've been missing out on.

I know exactly what you mean! I think that means something. I noticed that myself, though I didn't quite connect it until you mentioned that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've been wondering something. After all the seasons I've watched (and it hasn't been all of them, but many), its seems like most of the leads first kisses with contestants (yes, this will be a big generalization) happen on there first 1-on-1 date or sometimes during alone time on a group date. Is the fact that Sean and Emily had there first kiss before much of that? This might be impossible to answer but it just strikes me. And, Yes I know he asked her before he kissed her, but would rather that than him kiss her than him kiss her and she reject it. I still think that was a sign of his respect for her. I appologize if I make no sense.

Some of their kisses have been pretty steamy, I think. The last show though they hid the 'details' of their kiss by blocking its view. So we don't know how 'opened mouth' they were.
