Ms Ettena1 had uploaded the Pre-RC talk and kiss to YT an hour or so ago but it was taken down.
I had the chance to watch it and it gave me absolute butterflies. Particularly when Emily said that Sean gave her butterflies not only in her stomach but even in her heart !

I don't know how to send a message on tumblr to that person who makes all the great gifs. Has anyone else requested ones from their date and the pre RC time?

What got me was when he started talking about liking "a sweet girl with just a little bit of edge," and how he heard Emily's edge came out on the GD and he was sorry he missed that. Hot. No wonder she had butterflies in her heart.

I think it also shows that the audience likes people more when they actually get to see them. Jef's and Sean's much higher percentages no doubt coincide with both of them being more visible in the past couple of weeks (even though Jef was at least visible in those first 2 weeks when Sean wasn't).

That's probably more likely. I have 4 pairs of Converse in my closet, and I bought them all before I knew who Jef was. :Smiley: Jef may be a trendsetter with respect to other things, but not so much when it comes to Chuck Taylors.

^^^The contrasts between Jef and Sean are so apparent in the deleted scene from this week - especially the difference in their physical builds. It's always interesting to see the final ones together to note the differences and commonalities.

At the beginning of the RC last night, there was a shot of just the two of them (when CH mentions that they both already had roses) and the physical differences between them could not have been more striking. OTOH, in their sincerity, drama-free personalities, desire to protect Emily, and love of family, they couldn't be more alike.

Totally agree, since I also own two pairs, even a gray pair... Trying to keep the tone here nice and peaceful

Please relay our respectful thoughts to Sean and Shay.
Many of us agree with the results of the USA Today poll that Sean is the BEST choice for Emily, even though it appears that she doesn't recognize that.

We keep hearing the Adele song when we think of her not choosing Sean.... Emily, with Sean "You could have had it aaallllllll...." .

IF Emily was looking for a great father for Ricki, Sean would have been awesome. He got the kids group date rose. He's great with Shay's kids.

IF Emily was looking for someone to make REALLY cute babies with - even 6 of them - Sean has the best genetic gift (ala Wendy.)

IF Emily was looking for someone who was funny and entertaining, Sean fit the bill according to her own words (he's funny and not boring)

IF Emily was looking for someone who was gorgeous, Sean is "hot" according to Emily.

IF Emily was looking for someone compatible on FAITH issues, Sean is THE best fit for that.

IF Emily was looking for 'no drama', Sean is that relaxed, always smiling, shoulder-to-lean on tower of strength.

IF Emily was looking for a good communicator, Sean proved he could handle Speaker's Corner (and he doesnt say "like" every third word as some others do)

Okay, I just skimmed through the Episode 5 thread, and it was just as I expected. After last night's episode, over there it is "game over" for anyone who isn't named Jef.

Maybe Jef is Emily's choice at the end. I am not doubting that. But someone please explain this to me. Why was Sean's date viewed as being so boring (he's boring) - yet some found Jef's date to be the best first 1-on-1 ever? What did I miss? He and Emily did not appear to have any fun activities, only a couple of conversations in a pub and at the London Eye.

And I was surprised that Emily grilled Arie about not coming to tell her what Kalon said, but Jef admitted that he was sitting there when it was said, and yet he is being given a pass here for not speaking up? If anyone but Jef had said that to Emily, it would not have been turned into a positive for them. Funny how that works.

So despite what is being said about Sean, I will just focus on what I see here. I am trying to just look at things as an outside observer, knowing what the ending is supposed to be, and not discount things just because that person may not be MY favorite. I think that Emily does like Sean and enjoys being around him. At this point I have to disagree with Jef's fans that say she has already fallen in love with him. Granted Emily may not end up falling in love with Sean, but I don't think that it is "game over" yet and she is 100% sure at this point that Jef is the one, especially after THAT date last night. But that is just how I see things right now, trying to be an unbiased observer here.

Longhorn, ITA..with all you have said and to add my 2 cents worth, if she was so in love with JEF by this point and NO one else stood a chance as many are stating...why in the heck did she kiss on so many men last nite? Not to mention while she was sick? Really!!!
I wonder how Jef feels about this past episode and not to mention next weeks epi, with all the HOT and heavy making out she does...Really if she had already singled Jef out as her man and f1, she is definetly NOT leaving only certain things for her chosen one. Her rolling around kissing guys, Jef, Arie later on etc.

If i didn't know the spoiler which lie before me, i would absolutly 1000% NOT pick Jef as her final one based of the edit thus far given to me by TPTB.

Not to mention she even said she liked kissing Ryan last nite during her private P.I after the Romeo scene, mentioning he is a good kisser with soft lips and enjoyed it a second time later that nite with his reinactment of Romeo prior to RC time

The last scene with Sean at the RC was definitely romantic and hot. I was wishing that I had my closed caption turned on to confirm what I was hearing.

It's interesting how relevancy plays a factor in the polling. I'm glad to see that as Sean gets more exposure that he is making forward progress with viewers. (It's not all just in our heads!)

(I have a cold and spent too much time on the internet today) so I read many comments left on EW, People, etc re: last night's show ..let's just say that TPTB have a lot of selling to do re: Jef before the finale rolls around whereas buy in for Sean is pretty well cemented. Ari is well liked but the gossip articles have tainted him a little. I hope this doesn't mean that we won't get to see a lot of Sean in the coming weeks while they sell the ending.
