Is it possible that this was said earlier in the season and many of them blew it off thinking there is no way she is keeping this douche, but when she kept him so long they started to think maybe they need to tell her and Doug is the one who does since he is a father. I know some have said it was mentioned during Sean's 1:1 date, but do we know that for sure? I have not been in a lot of the threads lately. TIA

That's what I heard too! and i was very shocked almost.... but agree that it's not clear..

When's the last time we heard a guy or a girl say what Jef said in those PI's for this show?? seriously refreshing

Just before the end of the video, when he says, "you're welcome. You're welcome," it sounded like he said, "you're cute too." I could be totally wrong though. My ears have trouble sometimes catching everything.

Poohbear, you're absolutely right when you say "seriously refreshing". Jef is the real deal. He obviously had been thinking about Emily as his potential wife for some time by then, and he is sharing all those feelings with her. Beautiful conversation IMO. And you know what, Emily could have leaned over and given him a little kiss, too. Bet that would have opened the door. She knows how shy he is, and he has already told her that he thinks she's one of the good ones, that he likes hanging out with her. He really has shared a lot of serious stuff about himself in this deleted scene. I think he's "simply mahvelous"! Actually, he's adorable, lovely, gorgeous (in my eyes), and absolutely a beautiful man, inside and out. Can't wait for the episodes to follow.

We got the sneak peeks for episode 4 on Monday. The actual day the show airs which is kind of a bummer. I like watching the previews several times before that actual episode airs. JMO

I thought that comment he was referring to her shoes! If you watch he looks down and his foot touches her foot and then he says "those are cute too". It looked like a really awkward moment and he didn't know what to say after all of the compliments about being a good one. Smart man, to compliment a woman on her shoes! giggling
