At Sea World, Trista kisses Ryan fleetingly after he reads his second poem. Ryan is disappointed that he didn't kiss HER. He is oh-so-shy and waits until hometown! Then at sunset in Colorado at their elevated spot he goes into his I-always-wanted-to-kiss-you speech and she chirps "go for it". Of course, we know Jef doesn't wait THAT long, but you get the point.

I'm with you on this one JBF. I've said from the beginning that I think Emily reminds me the most of Trista and Jef reminds me of Ryan. We were all unspoiled during those early days, but I remember everyone saying how much Trista was in love with Charlie yadda, yadda, yadda while the whole time Ryan was there slow and steady.
