I guess I am in the minority but I think Roberto would be a fantastic bachelor. He is handsome, he is mature, he has all it takes

but after ali? he wanted to be far from Hollywood and build a normal life... so unless his business is not doing so good (insurance franchise), then I do not see him accepting this. roberto is my kind of physical guy. I guess I find arie a bit to boyish for my taste.

This is what I thought too. Doesn't make sense. It has been said that the media exposure was one of the reasons of the breakup...

I also understand that he changed insurance companies recently from State Farm to Farmers Insurance. Not sure if Farmers would grant him time off (paid or unpaid) to film the Bachelor so soon after becoming a members of the Farmers family.

Probably not the place for Roberto discussion but hard to let the comments go; if he switched insurance co it might be a reason to do it - I suspect the Bachelorette show was helpfull in getting clients. It's a tough business to get started in - need referrals. And if it's true TPTB are paying in the 6 figures for the lead - hard to say no to that too!. If he's like Emily and much better as the lead, then it could be great watching him. They better let him show his smile though and not keep him in drama all the time! So what's the normal time frame on this?

And when speculation began circulating about her possibly doing the bachelorette she changed it to a biblical verse, then a Dr. Seuss quote, and then the Dolly Parton one again
