Well, I can understand why it's Doug. I'm getting annoyed by Doug as well. He's always talking about how he's a dad, he's old, he's mature, and uses his backstory.. i'm sure that's what Chris was feeling as well. Just not a good vibe I get from him.. too big of an ego JMO

THAT is very telling imho as to where Jef was on her radar at that time of the show.

Definitely disappointing... will have to wait until next week to test their chemistry. BUT--keep in mind the most successful couple in Bachelor history didn't kiss until the home town visit date! (Ryan/Trista)!

It has been my guess that she would cool on Doug very quicklly and I think her comment, "I think he is hiding something" is about Doug. I don't like the guy and haven't from day one. He gives me the creeps. He is rehearsed.

I personally think Jef is still holding back. I'm pretty sure Emily would have made out with him if he would of tried, but this is just my personal opinion.

What's very telling imo is that it answers the question of who she was telling CH about when talking about putting out all the signals for a kiss...she's kissed everybody else so it has to be Jef. Looks like Jef making her wait worked in his favour!

I totally agree. If a kiss didn't happen, it sure as heck wasn't because of Emily. Even though I thought they were going to kiss in this episode because of how close they were sitting in the preview and how she was looking at him, I also remembered that quote about throwing every sign out there that she wanted the guy to kiss her and the guy not biting. So I thought maybe this could be one of the times she was talking about. I think we might even hear her say something about it tonight.

I actually like that Jef made her wait. It sets him apart. And he actually took time to know her and build a connection with her first.
