Yeah, I definitely think they planned on him being a frontrunner, not a villain. They gave him the first 1-on-1 and his edit was great through the first two episodes. I think HE is responsible for that changing. (and he was my pre-show favorite)
Really curious to see what happens on that 1-on-1 date in Croatia that gets him sent home.

Both post are right on. He seems to have brought it on himself.

Well, obviously! However, Emily has described both guys differently, so it was a hope that she would slip up.

I don't know much about this stuff, but do you think the fact that he was not able to nail down the ending to this season yet helped? In every other recent season he was able to nail it down already....

I think the fact that he doesn't have spoilers for this season but others do helped his case a lot. If I was his attorney, I would have hammered that point again and again, because I think it severely undermined MF's case.
