Does anyone know the licensing process for dentists. Can they practice anywhere in the US or does each state have its' own license simiar to attornies? If states have their own process, maybe Ash needs to pass some testing/waiting period before she can practice??? That way either NY or CA would have to approve her before she could practice? So if she applied for NY or CA now, that would be a giveaway as to where she might settle. I don't see her going back to Maine, and both her reported F2 have things which tie them to their prospective areas. I have heard her say the US is her oyster, but maybe she needs to wait until the show airs to go public about where she will land. I say all this because maybe the DWTS participation could be concurrent with a waiting period to practice denistry. It may be a long shot, but I am curious.

ETA and a horrible speller plus it is respective, not prospective.

Ironically, the only state that requires special licensing along with a DDS is Cali!

Most states have a licensing board. I know MDs need a license, so I assume DDS are no different. However, she won't be able to get a license until she graduates. So, until she has that diploma...probably not a lot of use looking!

I remember Ashley's step dad telling Brad during the HTD that he wanted her to finish her schooling. He seemed very stern & firm while discussing Ashley's schooling with Brad. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out because she has to take a National Dental Board Exam too.
